List of CSGO Ranks | Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

To remember:

  • 5vs5 competitive grades in CSGO From the initial unranked grade to the highest ranks such as "The Global Elite," each tier represents different skill levels and types of players, from novices to professionals.
  • Other game modes The 2v2 "WingMan" mode and the Battle Royale "Danger Zone" mode offer separate ranking systems, with specific ranks for each mode.
  • Tips for progress To move up in rank, it is crucial to contribute effectively in every round, aim to become MVP, and strive to win games.

Here's a complete list of the different CSGO ranks according to the different types of game, as well as most of the player profiles and types encountered in these ranks.

First type of game:

Competitive 5vs5 is the most played mode:

A map pool of several cards with 2 bomb slots: A and B.

From smallest to largest grades:

Unclassified :

Unrank (Uncategorized)

This is the first rank you will have when you launch the game for the first time or after a period of inactivity lasting one month. In the first case, you will need to win 10 games for CSGO to calculate your Elo rating based on your K/D ratio and your score, and assign you a corresponding rank. The CSGO Elo rating system is a little unclear.

In the second case, you only need to win one game for the game to reclassify you. This means you could come up against any type of unranked player, including cheaters, smurfs, and bots.

Silver grade

The vast majority of Silvers grades:

The most smallest in terms of grade, you will find trolls, smurfs who are there to troll, people who don't have microphones and who are really not good, and new players. These ranks represent approximately 47% of CSGO players. If you are a silver player, try to play with friends as much as possible so you can get out of this rank.

The Novas

Gold Nova I: They are coming out of silver, very few know the poses and calls but are starting to get some hours under their belts.

Gold Nova II: The same as #1, but as the game progresses, the players learn and begin to have a 'drinkable' aim. From this level onwards, we advise you to play with friends.

Gold Nova III: We are getting closer to an acceptable level, but it is not yet incredible. Very few have knowledge of flash/smoke markers and basic techniques such as strafing.

Gold Nova Master:  You are at the end of Nova, love and knowledge are beginning to be there.

Master Guardian

Master Guardian I, Master Guardian II, and Master Guardian Elite: You're starting to really get a good level as well as your opponents.

The Top CSGO Players:

Here's the top list: Professional and semi-professional players move between these ranks, even though most of them are Global Elite. In these ranks, you need to have incredible mastery of the game and a more than solid aim if you want to advance, play as a team, and have teamwork and mechanical skills that are more than important.

The 5 rows are :

  • Distinguished Master Guardian
  • Legendary Eagle
  • Legendary Eagle Master
  • Supreme Master First Class The Global Elite.

A word of clarification: These ranks are personal to you. They are not group ranks.

Second type of game

Le WingMan: LWingMan is a 2v2 mode played on certain maps from the 5v5 map pool, but in this mode, the maps are divided in two and only have one bomb site. Elo and rank are normally calculated in the same way as in 5v5, based on kills, stars, etc.

Third type of game

The recent CSGO update that made it free brought Battle Royale under the name: Danger Zone.

The rank system is even more vague than that of 5vs5, but we imagine that the rank is acquired. depending on place and number of killsOf course, the higher you go, the more good players you'll have in front of you. There are the following grades:

  • Lab rat I
  • Lab rat II

  • Wild Scout II
  • Wild Scout Elite
