Shrek in the Backrooms is an online game available on Roblox, created by The MonkeyMan Fan Club. It's an adventure-horror game containing several levels, each of which takes place in a sort of labyrinth with a coded exit. Players must navigate each room and collect items to escape the creatures chasing them.
These creatures are characters from the Shrek series, and the game consists in avoiding them while trying to find the exit and the code to teleport to the next level. The game also allows players to purchase items to equip their character, and weapons to defeat enemies to progress faster.
