Getting idolatons
Idols are items that players could craft to increase the amount of experience and kamas earned at the end of battles in exchange for additional stats for monsters or passives added to battles.
These Idols led to an overgeneration of resources on many servers, which resulted in economic destruction and strong discontent among players. Ankama therefore decided to delete Idols to clean up the game, however, players who owned Idols have been compensated with idolatons, a currency that cannot be exchanged between players but can be exchanged with an NPC to receive compensation.
If your character has Idols then Ankama has sent you idolatons for compensate for your loss.
Trading idolatons and crafter idols
To obtain rewards for defeating Idolatons, you must speak with the NPC located next to the church in Amakna at [6,3]: Chusurier.
You can always craft limited-use Idols to complete the Turquoise Dofus quests, which require you to battle various boss monsters in the game with sets of Idols to increase the difficulty.
