Doom tower: beat the Scarab King boss

A guide to give you some tips to beat the scarab king in the Doom Tower.

Reminder of the skills of Borgoth, the scarab king:

Borgoth

A1: Fog of Madness

Attack all enemies.

Places an [ATQ Reduction] debuff of 50% and a [Speed Reduction] debuff of 30% for 2 turns.

Places an extra hit on enemies that have no [Shield] buffs. The extra hit places a [Provoke] debuff for 1 turn.

A2: Vile Absorption

Attack all enemies. Places an additional hit on each enemy for each buff on the target.

Each additional hit steals a random buff from enemies that have no [Shield] buffs and removes a random buff from enemies under [Shield] buff.

Places an [Absolute Fear] debuff for 1 turn on enemies who have buffs stolen from them, and a [Fear] debuff for 1 turn on enemies whose buffs are removed.

Passive: Spectral Horror

Reduces incoming damage based on Borgoth's MAX HP reduction percentage.
Damage received is reduced by:

90% if Borgoth's MAX HP has been reduced by less than 10%.
60% if Borgoth's MAX HP has been reduced from 10% to 20%.
30% if Borgoth's MAX HP has been reduced between 20% and 30%.
0% if Borgoth's MAX HP has been reduced by more than 30%.

Passive: Easy Prey

Counterattacks when Borgoth is attacked by an enemy with no [Shield] buff.

Passive: Omnipotent Immunity

Immune to [Stun], [Freeze], [Sleep], [Taunt], [Skill Cooldown Block], [Fear] and [Absolute Fear] debuffs. Also immune to health swapping, health balancing, and cooldown increasing effects.

Tips and tricks to beat the boss:

There are several methods to beat it, some of which are mandatory to advance:

Put on the shield (compulsory).
Reduce his turn counters.
Stuff champions with Destruction sets and lower their MAX HP.

Put on a shield:

So already you will need a champion who puts a shield on all your team. The simplest champions for beginners are: Valerie and Metal Sculptor (Metalshaper).

There are other top champion like MMC and valkyrie for example that I use myself.

Otherwise you can also use champions who put themselves a shield so that he can solo for example: Vergis with a destruction set it is perfect. Madame serris can also be used.

PS: don't forget the Bloodbath artifacts, which gives you a shield = 5% of your damage, just have 3 armored and 2 other champions with this accessory and the boss will pass on its own!

Reduce your lap counters:

Now that you have a team with a shield, you can go to the next step, reduce its turn counter, an optional step but which will help you a lot more to climb the Doom Tower.

One of the champions that can help you easily is Armory (Armiger). Otherwise you also have Charm.

If you reduce his Turn counters = he plays less or not = he doesn't break shields and he doesn't kill your champions.

Stuff champions with Destruction sets and lower their MAX HP:

The destruction set reduces the max HP of the damage inflicted. So if you equip a CF, an armory, a Royal Guard (against affinity) with a set, you can easily reduce its max HP and kill it quickly.

You can do the same for Armorier. The aim is to make his Spectral Horror passive less powerful, or even to remove it. As a result, you do much more damage.
