Wandering Noble Ashes is a spirit summon in Elden Ring. Wandering Noble Ashes summons 5 Wandering Nobles with independent health bars that can move around and attack enemies at melee range.

Wandering Nobles can distract multiple enemies for a period of time, giving you plenty of space against crowds, but they are not effective in combat, so you should not expect them to defeat many enemies on their own. Wandering Nobles can also be found in groups as enemies in Elden Ring.

Ashes of Wandering Nobles is located on a corpse resting against a stone coffin in the Stormfoot catacombs in Limgrave :

Proceed through the catacombs as usual until you reach a ladder, then climb up. ;
Once you reach the top, continue forward past a few imps until you reach a dead-end room guarded by two imps. The corpse resting against the stone coffin will contain the ashes.

How to use the Ashes of wandering nobles in Elden Ring?

Each noble has its own life bar
3 Nobles are armed with swords and 2 with torches.
Their individual health is rather low, but due to their numbers, they are perfect for distracting the enemy. Green Shield Soldiers are generally more effective in this regard thanks to their green shields and projectile attacks.
Their attack animations are slow.
They are more effective against isolated enemies, allowing them to attack more freely.
When facing large enemies (such as dragons), the summoned Nobles cower and refuse to fight.
Due to their low health and high numbers, Wandering Nobles can be paired with equipment that produces effects on the dead, such as the Serpent God's Curved Sword or the Taker's Cameo, as the effects on the dead from these pieces of equipment will apply when the summoned spirit dies.
You must be near a rebirth monument to summon spirits from ashes.
When you are near a renaissance monument that you can invoke, a monument icon appears on the left side of the screen.
