The Dragon Heart is a consumable item in Elden Ring. It cannot be consumed but is used to exchange dragon-based incantations at the Dragon Communion Church. We will see where to find it and discover important information about the Dragon Heart.

Borealis, the freezing fog: found in the Giant Mountains, in the frozen lake to the northeast of the map.
Decaying Ekzykes: in Caelid, east of the South Caelid Road.
Agheel flying dragon: found in Limgrave (Lake Agheel).
Greyll flying dragon: found in Caelid on the Farum Greatbridge.
Adula fire stone dragon: first found in the Three Sisters region. After inflicting enough damage, it teleports to the Cathedral of Manus Celes, where it can be killed. It yields x3 Dragon Hearts.
Smarag glass stone dragon: found in Liurnia des lacs.
Greyoll elder dragon: in the Caelid region, surrounded by smaller dragons. He gives x5 Dragon Hearts after his defeat.
Grand Wyrm Theodorix: in the frozen lake north of Albinaurics' Ascent, near the entrance to the Cave of Oblivion. Defeating him yields x3 Dragon Hearts.
Makar magma wyrm: in northern Lake Liurnia (boss from Ruin Strewn Precipice).
Magma Wyrm: in the Legacy Dungeon of Volcano Manor.
Magma Wyrm in the lava lake next to Seethewater Terminus on Mount Gelmir.
Magma Wyrm in the Gael tunnel in Caelid.
x3 Gemstone Dragons west of the Altar of Moonlight. They drop 1 Dragon Heart each.

How to use the Dragon Heart in Elden Ring?

Exchange 1 Dragon Heart for the following at the Dragon Communion Church in Limgrave:

Exchange up to 3 dragon hearts for the following spells at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion in Caelid – You will only see the spells if you have defeated the dragon associated with them:

The player can obtain 23 dragon hearts on the NG cycle, but only 20 are needed to purchase all dragon-based incantations.
Used to interact with the statue in the Church of the Dragon Communion to acquire several dragon-based incantations.
Communion with dragons will slowly transform you into one of them, which will be reflected in your eyes after purchasing 5 dragon spells. If you wish to keep these special eyes, you must not obtain the bloody finger or be touched by the three fingers, as they will replace the dragon eyes.
According to the descriptions of the Magma Breath and Magma Wyrm Scale Sword items, those who participate in the Dragon Communion eventually transform into magma wyrms. However, regardless of how many hearts you consume, apart from a cosmetic change to your eyes, you will not transform into a Magma Wyrm.
Dragon hearts cannot be sold.
