List of PokéClicker Quests and Help

PokéClicker It guides you through tutorial quests right from the start, then moves on to side quests that are generated continuously.

This guide covers each step in order, so you won't get lost along the way.

Start of the tutorial: Defeat 10 Pokémon on Route 2

The very first quest asks you to defeat 10 Pokémon on Route 2, in the region of Kanto. In English, the game displays it as follows: "Defeat 10 pokemon on route 2. Click route 2 on the map to move there and begin fighting".

Open the map at the bottom of the screen, then click on Route 2 to travel there. Your character automatically attacks any wild Pokémon that appear, and each victory increases the counter.

Stay on this road without leaving the area, because the battles are only on the road 2 are recorded. By the way, you can also try to catch certain Pokémon to fill up your Pokédex and earn your first tokens.

Buy 10 Poké Balls in Viridian City

The second quest asks you to buy 10 Poké Balls («Buy 10 Poké Balls; you can find them at the Viridian City shop.»). You need 1,000 gold coins to complete this step.

Click on the city of Viridian on the map, then open the store Poké Mart, then buy your 10 Poké Balls.

Buy the dungeon ticket in Viridian

This quest unlocks the Dungeon Ticket (“Buy the dungeon ticket from viridian city shop”). To get it, you'll need 100 Dungeon Tokens—those little green tokens you earn every time you catch a new Pokémon. Once you've collected 100 tokens, go back to the shop in Viridian and buy the green ticket.

This valuable item gives you access to all the dungeons in the Kanto region, starting with Viridian Forest.

Collect 50 dungeon tokens, then clear the Viridian Forest

The game displays: «Gather 50 Dungeon Tokens by (re)capturing Pokémon, then clear the Viridian Forest Dungeon». To get these tokens quickly, select your Poké Balls on the right side of the screen and check the option that lets you try to catch Pokémon you’ve already caught again (the button Caught), then let it run

Focus on routes with lots of different Pokémon—you'll get better results there. Once you have your 50 tokens, click on the forest on Route 2, then click on the star in the upper-left corner to start the dungeon. Defeat the final boss, boss, to complete the dungeon and finish the quest.

Defeat the Pewter City Gym

Last step of the tutorial: «Defeat the Pewter City Gym». Click on the city located above Route 2, then enter the Brock’s Gym and win the battle. Your victory earns you the Boulder badge and completes all the tutorial quests. Now it's time for the side quests.

After the tutorial quests

PokéClicker It then continuously generates quests for you, and you can activate several at once from the Quests menu. Each quest you complete earns you Quest Points. If you don't like a quest, you can pick a new one. Focus on the ones you can complete passively as you play—it'll save you a lot of time.

Here are a few tips for completing these quests quickly:

• Capture a specific number of pokemon : Stay on a route where you're catching Pokémon one after another, or go through a dungeon you're already familiar with.
• Defeating the same opponent multiple times: Target a route where you haven't progressed very far—the battles there are quick.
• Use a type of pokeball in particular (Great Ball, Ultra Ball) : Sets this ball as the default in the menu before farming.
• Catching a Shiny Pokémon: That one depends on luck—just let it run in the background while you farm the rest.
• Earn Pokédollars or travel a certain number of routes: these quests complete themselves as you battle.

Capture quests also let you earn dungeon tokens. To farm a lot of them, find a route where captures happen almost instantly and keep repeating it over and over.

Please note : It's victory on the roads and in the arenas that unlocks access to the next regions, not the quests. Quests simply speed up your progress through their rewards. Examples of side quests

Here are the quests you'll come across most often, along with a tip for each one:

• Catch a certain number of Pokémon (for example, 245): Stay on a route where battles happen in quick succession, and make sure you have enough Poké Balls on hand.
• Take over the arena in Pewter City several times (13, for example): take this opportunity to improve your team at the same time.
• Earn dungeon tokens (often several thousand): catch Pokémon on the roads or in dungeons.
• Defeat X Pokémon on a specific road (Route 1, Route 2, etc.): Position yourself directly on the requested road to confirm quickly.
• Use a specific number of Poké Balls (306, for example): keep your supply stocked up through the shop.
• Complete a dungeon such as the Viridian Forest several times: it's also the best way to farm dungeon tokens.
• Catching Pokémon of a specific type (such as the "normal" type): targets an area where that type is common.

Prioritize quests that yield the most Quest Points or dungeon tokens, since you'll need them to pay the entrance fees for dungeons later in the game. You can always abandon a quest you're not interested in and pick another one.

Quests to Go to the Mine

This quest requires you to dig 5 layers in the basement (mine 5 layers underground). Before you can launch it, buy the’Explorer Kit in the store at Cinnabar Island. Once you have the item, open the card from Kanto and head to Route 11.

Click on the small mine building to enter the’Underground, find the hidden objects under each layer, then go deeper and deeper to clear all 5 levels. Each layer you complete also earns you extra dungeon tokens.
