Types of Pokemon

There is also another advantage that you are going to get when attacking. This is the same type STAB attack bonus. It increases the power of the attack if your attacking Pokémon is of the same type as the attack used. Damage is 1.5 times normal. So a Water-type Pokémon that uses a Water-type attack against an Earth/Rock-type Pokémon will do six times normal damage.

Psychic-type Pokémon

The Psychic-type Pokémon has few strengths and few weaknesses. Moreover, in the first generation, he managed to be overpowered. Its only weakness is mainly due to a complete lack of powerful insect-type attacks. An error also occurred in the game because Ghost-type attacks had no effect on Psychic-type Pokémon.

The second generation of the game therefore fixed the bug thanks to the addition of the Dark type and other better Pokémon as well as attacks of all types.
