By accepting this quest, you will be equipped with :
- SV-98 bolt-action sniper rifle (7.62 x 54 mm R):
- And Leatherman multifunction pliers.
I advise you to dismantle the SV-98 completely; only the action (the housing) should be kept, as it is sufficient to validate the lens. Unnecessary parts can be resold for financial gain. To avoid losing your Leatherman multifunction pliers in the event of death, it's best to store them in your secure container.
Take the rifle and the multifunction pliers on the Littoral and go to the boat on the beach near the gas station (image below).
Secret location indicated on the Littoral map
The secret location is at the water's edge, next to the coastal service station. Related quest items must be deposited in the boat.
Once there, position yourself against the boat and hold down the interaction button. This will trigger a countdown of 30 seconds.
At the end of this process, one of the two required items will be automatically removed from your inventory. Please note that removal is done item by item, so you'll have to repeat the entire process to deposit the second item.
The quest will be validated as soon as both items have been correctly deposited. If you die after making both deposits, there's no need to restart the action; you'll simply have to return to the Littoral and survive a raid.
