Alucare's review of: Hegemon

What I advise you on the champion:

To mount it 6*. Super champion who will necessarily play first (except against another hegemon or the one with the most speed will play). You can play it in two ways, full damage (nuker) or to hinder the opposing team (debuff). I advise you to play him with full precision so that he puts his debuffs, a mockery set can be great for him. Otherwise stun if you don't farm the ice golem. If you play it for debuffs, avoid critical rate on Hegemon.

I will use it in:
  • Arena
  • faction crypt
  • Dragon
  • Spider
  • Ice Golem
  • fire knight
  • Magma Dragon
  • Scarabe King
  • Frost Spider
  • Neither Spider
  • Eternal Dragon
  • Celestial Griffin
  • Dreadhorn
  • Dark Fae
Use for :
  • His "Utility" debuffs (Break Def, Atq, Accuracy, etc.)
  • ATB Control (Atb Reduction, Speed Reduction)
  • Nuker AOE
  • Nuker MonoTarget

History of Hegemon

There are countless tales of bravery and skill displayed by the Champions of Lumaya over the millennia. Courageous knights whose swordsmanship is unmatched, wise mages whose words alone can bring mountains crashing down, daring thieves, and sturdy soldiers. But those who follow the path of shadows should not be underestimated either.

The Hegemon is an imposing presence on any battlefield, his mastery of the blade matched only by his ability to direct the attacks of his servants. It is said that he was a noble champion of his people and the scourge of evildoers. He defeated many enemies in his past life and brought victory to many battles.

But such skill often comes with pride, and with pride—the seed of arrogance that has brought down so many heroes. Confident in his superiority and wisdom, the champion had renounced his lord, setting aside his vows and loyalty. Now he was known as the Hegemon, the only worthy ruler whose right to rule was earned by blood and sword.

Many soldiers under his command, seduced by the charisma of the hegemon, joined his rebellion and marched on the lands of his rivals. It took many months of bloody warfare and the combined efforts of the border lords of Kaerok and Aravian, as well as a mission from the Sacred Order, to put an end to the Hegemon's campaign and defeat his army.

The rebellious champion fled after single-handedly killing the soldiers sent to pursue him. After his fall, he swore revenge on the people of Teleria and gave his soul to Siroth and his mortal servants. One day, when his rivals among the renegade Revenant knights are defeated, the hegemon will gather a new army and march on Kaerok. Their champions will fall beneath his blade, and their people will have to bow down or face the consequences of denying his ambition.
