Welcome everyone, today's guide is about the pistolancier.
Le pistolancier fait partie de l’archétype guerrier, il joue principalement en front du boss et fera partie des classes qui auront le plus de résistance. Il utilise une pistolance et un bouclier.

It has two engravings:
- chevalier solitaire, more commonly known as red specialization, is a dps burst engraving.
- Aptitude au combat, more commonly known as blue specialization, is a constant dps burn.

A small disclaimer: never forget that predefined builds can be changed at will, but some spells will be more or less mandatory depending on the update or boss you launch. Keep an eye out for new patches so you can modify your spells in real time.

RAVE 1: Lone Knight

The lone knight engraving, also known as the red specialization, is an engraving you'll use for burst, mainly using pistolance spells. This engraving makes you less resistant and less useful in a group, but you're still very useful to your group.

Level 1: you gain 5% of critical hit and 30% of critical hit damage on your pistol skills
Level 2: You gain 10% of critical hit and 40% of critical hit damage on your pistol skills
Level 3: You gain 15% critical hit and 50% critical hit damage

Note, however, that you lose utility number 2: your group shield.

Important note:

Bash is the perfect spell to start your damage sequence.

For your combat upgrades, it's preferable to be in 70% critical strike and 30% speed, which will enable you to increase your damage while reducing the cdr. As the build is a burst build, it's important that you have critical strikes as a priority.

ENGRAVING 2: Combat ability

Important note on combat ability: this engraving can only be used at level 1 of its capacity.

Level 1: you increase the damage of your spells by 20% and increase your shield by 30% , when your utility is activated you inflict 4% of additional damage for 10 sec
level 2 :you increase your spell damage by 20% and increase your shield by 40% , when your utility is activated you inflict 5% of additional damage for 10 sec
level 3 :you increase your spell damage by 20% and increase your shield by 50% , when your utility is activated you inflict 6% of additional damage for 10 sec

Important note:

In conclusion, the pistolancier is a highly appreciated class for its many buffs, taunts and robustness. These two engravings are excellent and can be used without moderation.
