Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world RPG that is exceptionally rich in side content, giving players the opportunity to further improve their in-game skills by participating in the side quests, which are also required to complete the game at 100 %.
Following your discovery of the Helm of Urtkot for Lodgok and after your first lesson on magical creatures as well as the quest for the Demiguise statue for Mr. Moon, you will be able to access the side quest called The Call of Friendship. The quest is triggered by an express Owl mail that you will receive from Sirona, one of the game's own characters who plays a minor role in the main story, and who owns the Three Broomsticks pub in Hogsmeade, where she asks you to find her in her letter.

Sirona will start the quest for you by sending you to see her friend Dorothy Sprottle, who lives in the Campolard-en-haut region, north of Hogsmeade. If you've been there before, you can use Floo Flames to get back there in an instant. Otherwise, you must take your broom and go to the place indicated on your map. Dorothy will ask you to find Horklumps for making potions as well as ancient letters from Sirona, both of which are in a nearby cave.
If you have already obtained enough Horklumps (which is quite possible at this stage of the game), your will always give some to Dorothy, but you will find plenty in the cave anyway. Other than collecting Horklumps and possibly opening a small chest, there isn't much to do inside the cave, so you just have to follow the quest marker and head into the depths of the cave, destroying any vines or debris along the way.
Eventually, you'll slide down a slope, at the bottom of which is an angry Mountain Troll. You will be required to use the same attack strategies as you would in a fight against any other Hogwarts Legacy troll, which you can review in Fight against trolls. You need to do dodge rolls to avoid his two unblockable attacks and attempt to throw his rocks back at him by using Protego to block them and then holding down the R1/RB button. You should also use R1/RB to throw any boulders outside the combat area at the troll and use ancient magic if necessary.
After knocking down the Troll, you must continue until you come to a narrow passage, where you will see Sirona's five letters and her mailbox. You will then go and give Dorothy some Horklumps if it has not already been done, and finally you can return to Sirona in Hogsmeade, who will thank you for your help.
As at the end of each side quest in the game, you'll receive 180 XP for completing this one, but you'll also be rewarded with a Keg Rack, a collectible that can be used to decorate the walls of your Room of Requirement.
