Hogwarts Legacy offers players the chance to earn rewards of all kinds, including your house's antique uniform, a special outfit that glows when you cast spells and can only be obtained after completing a particular task, the quest called The Keys to the Maze.
In this side quest, you will have to find keys that will lead you to special Home Furnishings in order to earn Home Tokens.

By collecting 16 of these tokens, you can open locked trunk in the common room of your house and receive your house's antique uniform.
Although the rewards for this quest are cosmetic rather than statistic, looking good is just as important as having good stats in Hogwarts Legacy. And then you have to complete all the quests in the game if you want to complete it at 100%. So, without further ado, here are the steps to follow for the Keys to the Maze quest.

The quest consists of several parts and requires knowing a specific spell.
What spell to complete the Keys to the Maze side quest?
For three of the 16 Keys of the maze, you must have learned the Alohomora unlocking spellwhich can be obtained by completing the main story quest La complainte lunaire du concierge (after completing the first of the Percival Rackham trials).
Starting the Keys to the Maze side quest
Before the keys to the maze start appearing in the castle, you'll need to complete a side quest called The Keys to the Maze. To do this:
- Find Nellie Oggspire in the courtyard of the Transfiguration and talk to him.
- She'll tell you about the keys to the maze and send you off to find the first one. This is the easiest key to find among the 16, as the quest will lead you directly to it.
- All you have to do isusing the enchanted compass and of follow the path to find the key.
- After finding the key, follow it to the cabinet in the neighboring house.
Open house cabinets with maze keys
After following a key through the maze to a house cabinet, you must complete a mini-game to open it.
- The key floats around the cabinet and you must press the jump button to strike the key when it passes over the lock.
- Do it correctly, and the cabinet will open.
- Be careful with the timing, because if you miss, the key will flatten against the side of the cabinet.
Fortunately, there is no limit the number of times you can attempt the operation; it just takes a little longer for each failure.
Complete the Keys to the Maze side quest
When you open the closet in the house, you will receive a token from the house.
- Take it back to NellieYou'll be advised to leave it in the house safe in the common room.
- You will need to find the other 15 keys and house tokens to open it and get your reward.
Find the other keys to the maze
Unlike Zenobia's Bavboule Slime questThere is no particular order in which to find the other keys to the maze, but many of them are grouped together near each other. You should be able to follow the key to the House Cabinet, but if they lose track of the key, the images below should help. Finally, Revelio will indicate the location of the Keys to the Maze and the nearby House Cabinets.
The keys to the labyrinth of the Astronomy Tower
- Travel quickly to the location of the floating flame of the “Dark Arts Defense Classroom”.
- Go down the nearby stairs and look for the rhinoceros-like skeleton. The key is floating near it.
- Once alerted, the key will take You back up the stairs, past the float flame, and to the wardrobe.
The keys to the maze of the Grand Staircase
- Travel quickly to the location of the Grand Staircase Tower Flame and start down the stairs.
- After a while, you will find a key to the maze on one of the landings, surrounded by several portraits.
- Follow the key further up the stairs to the statue of the architect of Hogwarts to find the wardrobe.
- Travel quickly to the location of the Floo Flame on the Grand Staircase and climb the stairs away from the grand staircase.
- Turn left into the hourglass house, and the key should be floating on the other side of the door.
- Follow the key down the stairs to the right, then turn right again before exiting through the main door. The cabinet will be hidden in a corner.
- Travel quickly to the location of the courtyard fireplace in the "Cour du Quad" and climb the stairs to the left behind the snake fountain.
- Continue up the stairs, past the deer statue, then turn left, and the key should be floating on the landing.
- The key descends the stairs and passes the snake fountain in the courtyard.
- Pass under a few arches and look right to find the Cabinet de la Maison.
Library annex : Keys to the maze
- Take a quick trip to the location of the floating flame in the "potions class", then go through the door to the classroom itself. The key will be floating in front of the entrance to the potions classroom.
- Follow the key through the door on the left and go down the stairs to find the cabinet in the house.
- Travel quickly to the location of the Central Hall's floating flame and go upstairs. Keep going up until you find a large set of double doors that lead to the Viaduct Bridge puzzle. Instead of going out, turn right and find the key floating behind the nearby staircase.
- This key just goes down a flight of stairs you just walked up and then turns right to go to its respective House Cabinet.
- Travel quickly to the location of the Central Hall floating flame and go down this time. Turn right after reaching the unicorn statue, go down the stairs, then turn left before reaching the door to the greenhouses and Professor Garlick's classroom. The key is flying in the corner.
- Once You get close enough, the key flies across the hall. Go past the unicorn statue, down the stairs, turn right to the Arithmancy door puzzle, and the house cabinet is against the wall.
- Travel quickly to theThe location of the library's Cheminette flame and go directly under the arches. This key can be hard to find in hiding, and you may stumble across it by accident.
- Follow the key to where you spawned, past the Greek fire, and the cabinet in the house will be against the wall to the right.
The Keys to the Maze in the Great Hall
- Travel quickly to the location of the floating flame in the Great Hall and look at the chimney on the left. The key should be buzzing around here.
- Follow the key to the flame, turn right and go up the stairs to find the house cabinet and claim another house token.
Bell tower wing : Keys to the maze
- Travel quickly to the location of the fireplace in the "Courtyard of the Bell Tower" and climb the stairs to the left.
- Go through the door at the top of the first flight of stairs, and the key should be at the top of another flight of stairs, in front of the hanging mask.
- This key goes a little further than the others. Keep hanging on the left and climbing several flights of stairs until you come across a door.
- Turn left once more, and you'll find the Cabinet de la Maison.
The keys to the maze of the Hall of Secrets
- Travel quickly to the location of the House of Cards Floo Flame and immediately turn around - leave the House of Cards, and start climbing the stairs.
- Once you've reached the top of the two spiral staircases, go out the door and down the stairs into the corridor. The key should be at the end of the corridor, near all the cauldrons.
- Turn around after alerting the key and return to the hallway. Turn left instead of going up the stairs, and you'll find the Home Cabinet on a wall next to a flaming brazier.
- Travel quickly to the location of the brazier in the Salle de la Carte and head to the location of the last key.
- Turn left at the door with all the cauldrons and run towards the statue of the Hogwarts sleeping dragon. The key floats above the dragon.
- Turn left again and follow the key up the stairs to another house cabinet.
South wing: Keys to the maze
- Quick trip to the location of the floating flame of the hospital wing.
- If you don't have this flame yet, they must complete Caretaker's Lunar Lament to learn Alohomora and unlock the faculty tower.
- Go down the stairs, walk past a wardrobe, go down a few more flights of stairs, and finally, you will see a door with balloons next to it near an arithmancy door puzzle. The Key to the Maze is on this landing.
- Although it looks like the key is going up the stairs, it's actually heading towards the base of the faculty tower. The Cabinet of the House is in the main room, which you enter during the quest to learn Alohomora.
- Travel quickly to the location of the floating flame of the hospital wing, and this time, go down the stairs to the prefects' bathroom level. Turn right and go down the hallway to find the key.
- Follow the key to the bathroom, and the house cabinet is within sight.
- Travel quickly to the location of the fireplace in the courtyard of the Clock Tower the same place where you take part in Crossed Wands duels, and head for the locked door on the left-hand side.
- Use Alohomora to unlock it and climb the stairs into the attic.
- Go through the next door and continue up the stairs; the house cabinet will be on the left side when exiting the stairwell.
Open the House Chest
With all 16 house tokens in hand, return to the common room to open the house safe. Place each token in the chest, and finally, it will open and will reward you with the Relic House uniform.
The House of the Relic uniform is a unique piece with the appearance of the robe changing depending on which house You are in. The Ravenclaw one can be seen here, but each house has a unique robe design.
