Each film is included at a specific point for a good reason. Feature films such as Strong World, Film Z Where Gold take place between two story arcs and assume that you’re already familiar with the crew that’s come together by this point. Introducing them too early would disrupt the story’s logic.

You can skip them without missing any part of the story; they're mainly there to keep the fun going between story arcs. Saga Alabasta

Episodes 62 through 135. The Alabasta Saga continues Luffy and his friends in a desert kingdom in the midst of a civil war.

The crew uncovers an ancient conspiracy led by the Baroque Works organization. To save the country from an impending disaster, they must put a stop to the plans of its hidden leader.

The Skypiea Saga

Episodes 136 through 206. The crew of Luffy Discover an island floating above the clouds and a celestial civilization isolated from the rest of the world.

This adventure takes them on a quest to find a lost city of gold. They face off against the tyrant Enel and uncover the secret behind a centuries-old story.

The Water 7 and Enies Lobby Saga

Episodes 207 through 325. The crew arrives in Water 7, the City of Water, to repair their ship, the Going Merry.

A devastating betrayal tears the Straw Hat Crew apart and forces them to Luffy to declare war on the World Government. It’s one of the most moving story arcs in the entire series, with Robin’s past revealed and Franky’s arrival.

Thriller Bark Saga

Episodes 326 through 384. The crew boards the sinister Thriller Bark, a gigantic haunted ship shrouded in fog.

In an attempt to save one of their own, they face off against the undead and their creator, Gecko Moria. This arc blends humor, thrills, and action, and sees Brook join the Straw Hat Pirates.

The War at the Summit Saga (Marineford)

Episodes 385 through 516. This saga marks a major turning point, as the World Government goes to war against the most powerful pirates.

Luffy finds itself at the center of a titanic clash between Whitebeard, the Navy admirals, and the Great Corsairs. It’s a pivotal moment that changes everything for the rest of the series.

The Fish-Men Island Saga

Episodes 517 through 574. After a two-year time jump, the crew, now stronger than ever, sets off for the Island of the Fish-Men.

This saga addresses racism and discrimination, as the Straw Hat crew tries to break the cycle of hatred between humans and fish-men.

Saga Dressrosa

Episodes 575 through 746. These episodes follow the crew's efforts to free the kingdom of Dressrosa from Doflamingo's tyranny.

The Four Emperors Saga and Wano

Arc Egghead: The Final Saga
