The impregnated blade wrench Breaks the seal on the imp statues guarding the teleportation portals of the Four Bell Towers. It is consumed when used: you cannot reuse it on another bell tower. Choose carefully which portal you want to open before inserting your key.
The Four Bells are located in the region of Liurnia, west of the school district of Raya Lucaria. You can easily spot them on the map: four towers clustered together on a hill.

- The Abyss of Anticipation:
This key portal takes you back to the game's starting point, where a new battle against the boss awaits you. Grafted Scion. If you win, you’ll receive the Ornate Straight Sword, the Golden Shield with a Beast’s Head, and the Spirit Ashes Stormhawk Deenh and the key object Stormhawk King.
- Nokron, the Eternal City:
This keyed portal transports you to an isolated fragment of Nokron. There, you'll find the Spotted Necklace talisman, and you can face a Crucible Knight to obtain an additional shield.
- Ruins of Farum Azula :
This last gate with a lock leads to an isolated section of the ruins of Farum Azula, a suspended realm that you'll explore later in the game. There, you'll face two beastmen from’Azula to retrieve the dragon-pearl talisman.
Think carefully before using a key. If you follow the quest to Nepheli Loux, prioritize the Precipice of Anticipation: that's where the item needed to complete the quest is located.

How do you use an impregnated blade wrench on belfries?
Once you're there, approach the imp statue in front of a teleporter. Interact with it. The game will ask you to confirm that you want to use your imbued blade key.
The key remains in the slot: the gate opens, and you can go through it. You won't be able to retrieve the key afterward. If you want to explore the area first without using a key, activate the gate when you're nearby to save a waypoint.
Where can I find impregnated blade keys in Elden Ring ?
There are three impregnated blade keys in the base game. Here is their complete list of locations, in the most logical order for obtaining them.
First Imbued Keyblade: The Four Bell Towers
The first key is located right at the Quatre Beffrois, in the region of Liurnia. Climb to the very top of one of the towers. A chest is waiting for you at the top. It’s the easiest one to reach: you can grab it as soon as you get there, without having to fight anyone.
Not to be confused with the Stone Blade Key, which is a separate object with a different purpose.
Second impregnated blade key: the roofs of the academy in Raya Lucaria
The second key is hidden on the rooftops of the academy in Raya Lucaria, in the center of the building. The path to it is well hidden. The video below shows the entire route from the entrance to the safe.

Third impregnated blade key: Sellia, City of Witchcraft (Caelid)
The last key is located at Sellia, the city of witchcraft, in Caelid. To get there, you first have to turn on the streetlights in the city.

DLC-coated flat-blade screwdriver Shadow of the Erdtree
the DLC Shadow of the Erdtree introduces a new impregnated blade key to obtain. It can be found in the Castle of’Ensis, in the Shadowlands region.
This key is used to unlock a specific teleporter at the DLC, following the same principle as in the base game. The rewards available through this portal are tied to the new areas of the DLC, with a talisman.
