What criteria should be taken into account when choosing strikers?
Tactics and formations matter, but the most important factor is still your choice of forwards. A good goal-scorer needs to fit your playing style to remain a threat in every game. Here are the stats you should focus on first.
- Finish : a must-have for a goal-oriented center forward.
- Speed : perfect for a forward in a 4-3-3 formation who needs to make runs into space.
- Physical strength : to push back defenders and play as a center.
- Dribbling and Ball Control : useful for a forward who drops back and links up with teammates.
In Ultimate Team, the most effective profiles often combine speed and finish high. They are the most formidable in actual gameplay.
What about Career Mode?
In Career mode, the approach changes a bit. You'll be aiming more for young goal scorers with great potential, which you'll develop season after season. Three names stand out in particular.
