Below is the story and relationships of the main characters in order of appearance according to the chronology of the episodes:

From Street Fighter 1:

Ryu Orphaned as a child and with no memory of his parents, he was adopted by Master Gouken, who raised him in his dojo, isolated from the world, training him in martial arts. At the age of 23, he set out to test his skills against the best fighters in the world. His main challenge is to control the “Satsui no Hado,” a dark force that threatens to corrupt him.

Ken Masters : friend and rival of Ryu. Born into a wealthy family in the USA, Ken was sent to Japan to study martial arts under the tutelage of Gouken, where he met Ryu. Ken stands out for his flamboyant, aggressive fighting style, which reflects his outgoing personality.

Sagat He is known as the “King of Muay Thai.” Initially introduced as one of the main antagonists, Sagat was the world champion of Muay Thai before being defeated by Ryu, who left a scar on his chest. His journey is marked by his internal struggle between revenge and redemption.

From Street Fighter Alpha:

Chun Li : She is one of the first and most iconic female fighters in Street Fighter. An Interpol agent, she seeks to avenge the death of her father, who was killed by Mr. Bison, the leader of the criminal organization Shadaloo. Chun-Li is known for her fast and acrobatic fighting style, based on wushu.

Gouki/Akuma Known as Gouki in Japan, Akuma is a formidable character. He is the younger brother of Gouken, the master of Ryu and Ken. Akuma has embraced the “Satsui no Hado,” an evil energy that greatly increases his power at the cost of his humanity.

Gouken : He is Ryu and Ken's master. Akuma's older brother, he followed a path opposite to that of his brother, rejecting the “Satsui no Hado,” an evil energy that consumes those who succumb to it. He embodies discipline, wisdom, and fair combat.

Sakura After watching Ryu fight, she decides to emulate him and trains herself to master his fighting style. Sakura constantly seeks to prove her worth by fighting increasingly stronger opponents, hoping one day to measure herself against Ryu as an equal.

Mr Bison Also known as Vega in Japan, he is the main antagonist of the Street Fighter series. Leader of the criminal organization Shadaloo, he is obsessed with world domination and absolute power. Mr. Bison uses “Psycho Power,” a dark and destructive energy that amplifies his fighting abilities.

Cammy : She is initially introduced as a formidable assassin working for Shadaloo under the code name “Killer Bee.” After escaping Mr. Bison's control, Cammy discovers that she is a clone of Bison created to serve as a vessel for his Psycho Power.

Decapre : She is introduced as one of Mr. Bison's “Dolls,” a group of assassins trained by Shadaloo. Decapre is a clone of Cammy, sharing many physical characteristics, but she is marked by a scar on her face and a much darker personality.

Vega : Also known as Balrog in Japan. Originally from Spain, Vega is a bullfighter and ninja, combining both disciplines in his fast-paced, acrobatic fighting style. Obsessed with beauty, he always wears a mask to protect his face and uses a claw to tear his opponents apart.

Charlie Nash : a former comrade and friend of Guile, both soldiers in the US Army. Nash is presumed dead after being betrayed by Mr. Bison and left for dead during a mission. However, he is resurrected by a mysterious organization to track down and destroy Mr. Bison.

From Street Fighter Alpha:

Guile He is on a mission to avenge the death of his close friend, Charlie Nash, whom he believes was killed by Mr. Bison. Guile is known for his fighting style based on techniques such as the “Sonic Boom” and the “Flash Kick.” Motivated by a deep sense of justice and loyalty, he relentlessly pursues Mr. Bison and Shadaloo to bring them to justice.

From Street Fighter 4:

Seth : He appears as the final boss in Street Fighter IV. Designed by the criminal organization S.I.N. as a living weapon, Seth is prototype number 15, created to become the perfect body for M. Bison's soul. He can mimic his opponents“ fighting techniques thanks to his ”Tanden Engine.".

Crimson Viper : She is an undercover agent working for the CIA in Street Fighter. She uses a combination of high-tech gadgets, such as electric gloves, jet boots, and a suit capable of generating flames, to fight her opponents.

Juri Originally from South Korea, she is a taekwondo expert with a penchant for violence and destruction. Juri was seriously injured in an accident orchestrated by Shadaloo, which led to the death of her parents. She was then fitted with a cybernetic eye, the “Feng Shui Engine,” by S.I.N., which gives her superhuman powers.
