Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Rank List
Here's a complete list of the different CSGO ranks according to the different types of game, as well as most of the player profiles and types encountered in these ranks.
First type of game:
Competitive 5vs5 is the most played mode:
A map pool of several cards with 2 bomb slots: A and B.
From smallest to largest grades:
Unclassified :
Unrank (Unclassified):
Here's the first rank you'll get when you launch the game for the 1st time, or after a month's inactivity. In the 1st case, you'll need to win 10 games for CSGO to calculate your elo based on your k/d and your score, and assign you a corresponding rank - CSGO's elo is a bit vague. In the second case, you only have to win one game for the game to reclassify you. This means you can fall foul of any non-ranked player. So cheaters, smurfs, bots.
Silver grade:
The vast majority of Silvers grades:
The smallest category in terms of rank, you'll find trolls, smurfs la pour troll, people who don't have microphones and really aren't any good, new players. These grades represent around 47% of CSGO players. If you're a silvers, try to play with friends as much as possible to get out of this rank.
The Novas
Gold Nova I: They're just out of silver, very few of them know the poses and calls, but they're starting to have a certain number of hours.
Gold Nova II: The same as #1, but as the game progresses, the players learn and begin to have a 'drinkable' aim. From this level onwards, we advise you to play with friends.
Gold Nova III: We're getting close to a decent level, but it's still not incredible: very few people know the flash/smoke cues and basic techniques like strafing.
Gold Nova Master : You're at the end of Nova, the aim and the knowledge are starting to be there.
Master Guardian :
Master Guardian I, Master Guardian II and Master Guardian Elite: You're really starting to get the hang of it, and so are your opponents.
The Top CSGO Players:
Here's the top list: Professional and semi-professional players move between these ranks, even though most of them are Global elite. In these ranks, if you want to progress as a team player, you need to have an incredible mastery of the game as well as a more than solid aim.

Distinguished Master Guardian
Legendary Eagle
Legendary Eagle Master
Supreme Master First Class The Global Elite.
A word of clarification: These ranks are personal to you. It's not a group rank.
Second type of game:
WingMan:
WingMan is the 2vs2 mode contested on some maps in the 5vs5 map pool, but in this mode the maps are divided into 2 and feature only one bomb site. Elo and rank are normally calculated in the same way as in 5vs5, based on kills, stars, etc.
Third type of game:
The recent CSGO update that made it free-to-play brought Battle royale under the name : Danger Zone.
The rank system is even more vague than that of 5vs5, but we imagine that rank is acquired according to place and number of kills, of course the higher you go the more good players there will be in front of you. So there are the following ranks:
