Hi everyone, for once I'm going to do a little article on a game I played recently:

I warn I got the game for free after asking for a key. (I had looked at the story for 1-2 minutes a bit and what the game offered and I rather liked it, I said to myself I will try).

My opinion on the game?

I started streaming it. Quite late each time but some hooked up at the same time as me. And on my side I really loved the gameplay. Tactics and all that goes with it. So my opinion is that I love the game. You have to like this style but it's really not bad at all, I recommend it.

It's still in early access and I'm waiting to see what the sequel has in store because for the moment it's quite often the same thing so we can start to get bored.

The only worries for the moment: you can get bored quickly because it will quickly repeat itself (so strongly the final version ^^). And to get up quickly you can spam some techniques. (Which I won't reveal for you spoilers and that you find it yourself) If need help I'll be on their discord (link below).

Play time?

In 1 week of play, I'm already at 3 p.m. playing (in stream) I went up to the difficulty +6 (there are 20 difficulties in all). And I understood the basics of the game. I would say that the average must be 30H-40H to completely finish the game (there is a part of RNG anyway in each run but we can reduce it with the tactics and techniques of game.

I remind you that the game is still in early access! There is only one champion and I will say 75 cards out of the 400 planned (I will do a part on what is planned later)

How is the final version planning to be different from the early access version?

Which will make a lot more content than currently.

What is the current status of the early access release?

“We have a full playable Hero (with another already on the way), 70 maps, 9 units to recruit, 33 relics and 16 events. You can walk through all 3 acts, featuring 3 circles of hell and their respective Wings. »

So from what I had put above: the cards I was right, the relics there will normally be 3 times more (minimum), and 3 times more events (minimum too). 4 times more minimum troops to recruit (it will be much better). And 3 more circles so much more content.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price will be increased when the game leaves Early Access. The final price will reflect the amount of content added since the start of the Early Access process. »

So if you like the game, you better buy it now haha. (FYI I'm not paid to advertise the game eh, well after that it wouldn't have bothered me)

How do you intend to involve the community in the development process?

“We plan to use the Steam community, Twitter, and Discord to get feedback directly from players, answer questions, receive suggestions, and also update them on new additions directly as soon as they go live. Our goal is to release a game update every 2 weeks. »

  1. The game looks nice, but it is actually (as it is) fairly quickly repetitive, let's hope that the promised changes will improve this, especially on the side of the miracle recipe for progress which seems (as it still is) almost the only one possible.
    The rng actually makes it replayable but also sometimes frustrating, as much on the deckbuilding side it doesn't bother me, as much on other points though.
    Afterwards, personally, I can no longer subscribe to early access games that want to "make the game as best as possible, and get closer to the community to listen to it actively"
    If that was truly the only purpose then the free open beta would fill that role just fine, early access has no other purpose than to start making money (which I can understand) and I don't appreciate the hypocrisy of teams who don't admit it.
