The Ruin of the Royal Estate is a location in Elden Ring. It lies to the northwest of Liurnia des lacs. The area is easily accessible on foot or horseback by following the main road along the western land mass. These ruins are a little different, as there's an illusory wall + an illusory underground too.

The Royal Ruins contain a hidden underground area where the optional boss Royal Revenant can be fought. The stairs leading to this area are covered by an illusory wall. You will find it in the northeast section of the ruins. You must roll on the ground to dispel the illusion or strike it with a melee weapon to reveal it.
The Royal Specter is a very fast and agile multi-limbed creature that can teleport around the arena and release a toxic breath in a long straight line in front of it. By defeating the Royal Specter, you will gain nothing but runes. However, you can access the small room at the end of the hallway. There you will find a chest containing the Frosted Needle rapier.
