💡 No subscription sharing service can promise zero risk, and Sharesub is no exception. Here are 3 situations where it can get stuck.

1. The platform closes the shared account

This is risk number one, and it does not depend on Sharesub. Since 2023, Netflix has deployed its out-of-home anti-sharing policy in Europe. Spotify and Disney+ followed with stricter controls (IP verification, limiting the number of simultaneous screens).

If the account you share is suspended for this reason, Sharesub reimburses you pro rata for the remaining days. But you'll have to repeat the procedure elsewhere.

2. Owner changes password or stops paying

You depend on a stranger verified by Sharesub, but a stranger all the same.

• If he changes the password, Sharesub forces owner-side updates and sends you the new identifiers (usually within 24 hours).
• If he stops paying his subscription altogether, you are reimbursed on a pro rata basis and placed on a waiting list to join another group.

3. Sharesub fees on top of the subscription price

Sharesub earns on every transaction. In concrete terms, on a Netflix Standard at €13.49/month at full price, 4-way sharing theoretically costs you €3.37/month. But on Sharesub, you'll pay €4.04/month instead. The difference (~67 cents) covers security and reimbursement.
