Smarag, the sparkling stone dragon, is a major enemy with boss and Elden Ring. Smarag is a powerful magical dragon whose scales are made of magical stones.

The glittering stone dragon is the normal form of this boss enemy. Other bosss with the same basic attacks are Agheel Flying Dragon, Greyll Flying Dragon, Decaying Ekzykes, Adula Straw Stone Dragon, and Borealis the Frost Mist. The Little Dragon is a normal enemy with the same basic attacks.
Where to find Smarag
From the site of Graceful Crystal Woods, head south around the front of the steep island in the lake. From the Temple District, head north and you will come across Smarag.

FYI, I think I was level 60 at the time of the battle, and it still hurts a lot. I waited until I leveled up to kill him.
