The trailer for update 5.60:
What are the highlights of the 5.60 update?
Hero's Path Events:
“Hero’s Path” events will feature reward path choices, and it's up to you which path(s) you want to take. If one of the rewards particularly catches your eye, it will be easy for you to choose the fastest path to reach it and collect additional rewards along the way.
As for objectives, Hero's Path events combine several game modes and activities: earning artifacts in dungeons, upgrading artifacts and accessories, leveling up champions, and much more. Completing these activities will earn you Hero Coins which in turn will unlock Hero's Path rewards and Keys which will allow you to explore additional reward paths.
Each path leads to the event's most valuable reward, but the additional Hero Keys and Coins we mentioned above can unlock the other reward paths as well. The first Hero's Path event will be dedicated to the Summer Solstice and will launch in the near future as Paths of Light.
Hydra: Aggregation of combat results
The first quality of life improvement is something that has been highly requested: Hydra's combat grouping. You can already do this during a battle if you pause, but now we're adding the same functionality to the battle results screen.
After the battle is over, you'll have the choice of keeping the result and losing the Hydra Key, or trying again for a higher score. If you choose the latter, you'll be returned to team select, where you can edit your team and face the Hydra once more.
Tag Team Arena Inactivity Penalty
Tag Team Arena will have a similar inactivity penalty as Classic Arena. Anyone who does not launch 10 offensive battles per week will be demoted to a lower level. This change may seem insignificant, but we think it will make a big difference and help free up some tiering space for more active tag arena players.
Instant Artifact Enhancement
The last upgrade is also something that was requested by the community - the ability to skip the artifact/accessory upgrade animation. As of Update 5.60, you will be able to check the "Instant Enhancement" box to do this, although the game will still simulate any necessary enhancement attempts. The actual process will still unfold in the normal way – attempt by attempt, with some chance of success by try – but you will no longer have to watch the drama unfold before your eyes. Unless you really, really want to.
