Demon Slayer: The Pillars' Training is coming soon!
The long-awaited Season 4 is finally arriving on our screens. Despite an announced April date, the first episode of the new arc will be broadcast from May 12.
After months of waiting, the new trailer promises a season full of excitement and impressive battles. It gives a better glimpse of the Pillars' training and the secondary characters to be discovered.
The Demon Slayer phenomenon is soon back, and this trailer confirms the release date of your favorite anime.
How many episodes are planned for Season 4?
For the moment, the mystery remains intact, and no official information has been shared about the number of episodes planned for this season. As a reminder, previous seasons featured :
- Season 1: 26 episodes;
- 18 episodes for season 2;
- 11 episodes for season 3.
There's a strong possibility that Demon Slayer season 4 will be just as short, given that the "Pillar Training" arc has just 9 chapters (126 to 136) in the manga. It was also introduced by the film: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – On the Way to Pillar Trainingreleased in French cinemas on February 24.
The first episode of season four picks up where the second half of the film left off. On average, each episode lasts around 20 minutes, immersing you in this fantastical universe. Although the arc in question is relatively short, the community on social media has only one wish: that it not be rushed.
What to expect from Demon Slayer season 4
After a first season that laid the groundwork by introducing the world of demon hunters, their enemies, and the Pillars, the anime kept fans on the edge of their seats. With breathtaking animation and rousing music, seasons 2 and 3 were full of emotion and spectacular, fluidly choreographed fights.
For this new season, the story picks up after a crucial moment in the series, namely the Blacksmith Village arc. We meet up with Tanjiro and his friends for intensive training sessions organized by the Pillar of Rock.
To face the coming battle, they will have to surpass themselves to become even stronger. However, it's not enough, The Pillars will be at the heart of the plot. and we'll have the pleasure of discovering some fascinating and promising secondary characters.
As for Nezuko, one of the series' most beloved characters, she'll be in the spotlight. Following the revelations surrounding Tanjiro's little sister, it's highly likely that our adorable demoness will play an important role in this season!
