Quests in Age of Apes

To progress in Age of Apes, there are various quests to complete throughout the adventure:

1. The main quests grouped into chapters that tell the story of the game.
2. The selected quests which are slightly less important than the main quests. (shown in yellow in the image)
3. The regular quests which evolve as you progress. (shown in white in the image)
4. The daily quests which are unlocked at City Hall level 8.

   

PVP in Age of Apes

Age of Apes is also an aspect Player Versus Playercharacterized by 4 types of units fighting :

1. The Shooters Ranged units. They are strong against Bastonneurs but weak against Pilots.
2. The Bastonneurs Melee units. They are strong against Pilots but weak against Shooters.
3. Pilots Mounted units. They are strong against Shooters but weak against Bastonneurs.
4. Les Casses Murailles Siege units. They are strong against cities, but weak against other units.

   

Units are used to fight on the map against the game or against players by attacking their cities!

Les Combattants :

To accompany and direct these combat units, there are some thirty heroes available in March 2025, Les Combattants. These fighters can be obtained via a invocation system in the Monkey Tavern and/or by completing in-game missions.

Gangs:

Multiplayer is one of Age of Apes' strengths, and it comes in the form of Gangs. Gangs are clans for finding other players, unlocking additional bonuses and organize raids on the map. Joining a Gang will allow you to’speed up construction times via the help system. There is also a research lab specific to the Gang that allows you to improve your units, reduce construction and recruitment times, and enjoy many other bonuses.

Joining a Gang is a an excellent way to progress with others and learn alongside veterans of the game.

CDs and VIP :

Age of Apes offers two types of premium content:

1. CDs are a premium currency that can be obtained in small quantities in the game and purchased with real money. They allow you to’reduce waiting times, to purchase missing resources, to be invested in generating more.
2. The VIP system is a system of levels, 19 in total, which can be reached by accumulating VIP points, awarded by the game or purchasable with CDs. Each level gives bonuses to the player or enhances previously obtained bonuses.
