In this quest, you must first eliminate Glukhar or its guards, for a total of 4 victims. Next, you need to draw a yellow flare in the sky from the radar station area located at the military base. If the rocket does not reach a certain height, the quest objective will not be completed.
You can use either the RSP-30 yellow handheld flare, available at Prapor at the NdL1 level, or a 26 x 75 mm yellow rocket cartridge, available at Jaeger at level NdL1, which you will fire using a signal pistol.
Here are the two options:
- a RSP-30 hand-held flare (yellow)available from Prapor on level 1.
- a 26 x 75 mm flare cartridge (yellow) with a ZiD SP-81 distress pistol. The cartridge is sold at Jaeger on level 1.
When using the RSP-30 hand-held flare (yellow)If you're going to use it, aim upwards, but not excessively, so that it doesn't fall back behind you.
You then need to extract yourself using the "Cliff" extraction. To do this, you'll need a paracord and a Red Rebel ice axe. Don't wear body armor (you can put it in your bag).
