Soiled Sinner Story

An invisible terror lurks in the streets of Arnoc, killing at night and draining the blood of its victims. Bands of militiamen and city guards have scoured the slums countless times, but to no avail. Dozens of people have been found dead on multiple occasions, killed by this mysterious murderer with disconcerting ease.

It didn't take long for rumors to spread throughout the city and for terrified citizens to talk about a demon whose eternal hunger drives him to kill and feast on the souls of those he kills. The truth is only slightly less terrifying. The culprit is not a demon, but a master assassin who was hanged in the town square several years ago.

Whether by the hand of a dark mage or by his own hatred and the will of Siroth, this merciless warrior rose from his grave and now lives on in death. Apparently, execution did not dull his murderous talents; it simply gave the assassin a thirst for the blood of the living. Thus, armed with his own skills and the vile predatory instincts of a vampire, he roams Arnoc and satisfies his misguided vengeance against all who cross his path.

Although undoubtedly a monster, the tainted sinner is also a highly skilled warrior, and his talents allow him to fight many enemies at once with formidable efficiency. Some less scrupulous heralds of the Arbiter may wish to bind him to their will rather than send him back to the grave.
