History of Grohak the Bloody
Grohak the Bloody comes from a time of legends and tragedies far removed from the current war in Teleria. At that time, the orc civilization was at the height of its power and threatened to overthrow the elven kingdom. All it would have taken was a single leader to unite the divided clans, and the savage tide of steel would have swept away everything in its path until it crashed against the gates of the Palace of Aravia.
Becoming this leader had been Grohak's life goal ever since he first tasted victory and heard his clanmates shouting his name. He sought out challenges worthy of a legendary warrior and learned to fight the hated Elves in a way that deprived them of their advantages.
Indeed, Grohak—like most Orcs, for that matter—often struggled to match the speed and dexterity of their enemies. But the young warchief had perfected combat techniques that paralyzed and slowed the elven warriors, making them easy prey for his unbridled fury.
Perhaps he would have seen his dream come true, or died gloriously in battle, had it not been for Siroth's machinations and the intervention of the Arbiter. As the conflict between the High Elves and the Orcs reached its bloody climax, Siroth's dark legions crossed the veil between realms.
They invaded Teleria in force, slaughtering or subjugating all who dared to resist. It was then that the Arbiter sought to recruit the most powerful mortal warriors, and Grohak was one of the heroes who was called upon. He resisted at first, crying out against the Arbiter's will as his destiny slipped away.
However, Grohak eventually accepted his new role and led countless champions into battle against the hordes of Demonspawn. He triumphed in countless duels before the invasion was thwarted, slaying many demons and surviving serious injuries.
Some of them could not be completely healed, even by the power of the Arbiter, and Grohak emerged from this victory bruised and scarred forever by the crimson color of his skin—a color he willingly embraced and displayed on his armor.
