Line Infantry History

Dwarf line infantry are made up of poor townspeople, unable to master a trade to the point of success and earn enough money to afford adequate equipment. The Jarls, however, provide warriors with simple, sturdy leather armor, as well as a spear and shield. Trained to fight in defensive formation, line infantry excel at pushing the enemy into a protracted engagement where their spears and accumulated defenses allow them to hold their ground while more specialized warriors surround the enemy.
