Sikara's story

Blood is thicker than steel. That is what the barbarian tribes who roam the scorched expanses of the Krokhan Desert say. For although the steel of the invading armies triumphed and drove them from their lands, it never managed to disperse these close-knit tribes or make them renounce their identity. And it would be difficult to find a better representation of this maxim than the two sisters Alika and Sikara.

Born into the nobility of their clan, these two young women had to follow the warrior's path, and they did so with great enthusiasm. Trained from an early age to wield a bow and traverse the dunes unseen, they were well on their way to joining the ranks of Teleria's most feared archers.

And it was their first real skirmish that would define their shared destiny. What was supposed to be a simple foray into the desert turned into a desperate final battle when the small barbarian force encountered a full detachment of the fearsome Revenant Knights, led by a necromancer.

The sisters, who were barely considered children, showed their courage from the very first moments of battle. Although outnumbered and forced to retreat to a ruined fort, they shot down enemy after enemy with their arrows, each shot coordinated with a precision that belied their age and put their peers to shame.

But their enemy's dark magic was not easy to defeat. The slain enemies rose again and again, their bodies serving the necromancer's will despite every attack against the handful of brave warriors. A messenger had been sent to the clan to warn them of the impending attack, so all that remained for the nomadic warriors to do was to stand and fight.

And so they did, holding out all night until the first light of dawn. Their fate was sealed from the start, and the reinforcements rushing to the battlefield expected nothing less than bloody revenge. Yet, to their surprise, they found their loved ones victorious. Most had fallen as heroes, but Alika and Sikara were still breathing despite their serious injuries.

The undead littered the sand all around them, bodies piling up around the wounded sisters. The necromancer who had led the daring invasion was there, among his servants, two arrows piercing his black heart.

Quickly entrusted to the clan's best shamans and healers, Alika and Sikara survived, their bond stronger than ever. Now, they are inseparable on the battlefield. Indeed, few enemies can survive their combined barrage of arrows, and even fewer can hope to defeat the two sisters when they fight for each other.
