History of Skorid Semi-engendered
Skorid is reviled in Teleria as the Living Curse. Skorid was originally a favored servant of the Awoken Dreamer, but his ambition and desire to acquire forbidden knowledge of curse magic led him to cross a portal to Anathraad, transforming him from an elf into a demon spawn.
Grotesque wings of bone and weathered skin emerged from his back, his strength multiplying and his esoteric power surging forth. Wielding an enormous double-bladed weapon, one end a cleaver and the other a cruel scythe hook, Skorid returned to Teleria to spread distress and terror.
Skorid took with him powerful curses that Siroth himself whispered in his ear. They clashed in his head, each with a will of its own, seeking to escape.
He muttered, spoke in a raspy voice, and almost constantly shouted in a disturbing growl similar to the sound of irregular stones and crystals being struck with a rusty rake. Mortals close to him trembled violently and bled from their eyes and ears when Skorid's curses crept into them.
The stone cracked around him, plants rotted, and water became foul. The Living Curse was so terrible that it attracted the attention of the previously hidden Lightbearers, who were determined to prevent it from ravaging the kingdom.
