PRESENTATION :

Welcome to this guide to the Blade, one of the assassin archetype classes.

Let's start with the basics: the blade has one engraving ''Fury'' and another ''Residual Energy'', but we'll come back to that a little later.

As an assassin, the Blade's gameplay is dynamic, requiring you to be on your back on a regular basis. From a robustness point of view, it requires a certain skill and understanding of the boss, and has a medium armor ratio, so you'll be able to take very few hits before having to use a potion or call your support. To make things a little more concrete, here's the table:

ENGRAVING 1: Fury

Fury is the engraving that will allow you to have a gameplay based on burst, you will accumulate stacks allowing you to activate your utility, which will be boosted according to the number of stacks accumulated (up to 20).

 

  • Level 1: increases willpower concentration damage by 7.5%. Also, for each level of the effect, the Deathblade accumulates 5% of Will energy upon exiting the combat trance.
  • level 2: increases damage caused by willpower concentration by 7.5% and 0.5% of attack power. Also for each level of the effect, the Deathblade accumulates 5% of Will energy at the moment of exiting the combat trance.
  • level 3: increases damage caused by willpower concentration by 7.5% and 1% of attack power. Also for each level of the effect, the Deathblade accumulates 5% of Will energy upon exiting the combat trance.

Here's a build and an explanation, but don't forget that the predefined builds can be changed as you wish. Nevertheless, some spells will be more or less mandatory depending on the update or boss you launch, so keep an eye out for new patches so you can modify your spells in real time.

  • Spell 1: sudden attack is a dash that allows you to generate 1 stack
  • Spell 2: Rising whirlwind must be cast behind your opponent's back and cannot be interrupted with 40% damage reduction ( Tripod 1 and 3 ) . The spell generates 2 stacks
  • spell 3: Cutting blades has 3 successive dashes, the spell generates 3 stacks
  • spell 4: Cunning trick is your counterattack and must be performed in front of your opponent. The spell generates 1 stack.
  • Spell 5: Hurricane rush is an aoe that must be maintained, the spell generates 2 stacks
  • spell 6: vital attack You're unaffected by the effects of projection, and deliver 3 large sword blows that move you slightly forward. The spell generates 2 stacks
  • spell 7: Cloak of Blade is a spell that applies a group buff to all allies within a 24m radius, for 6 seconds increasing movement speed by 15% and attack speed by 20%.
  • Spell 8: Headhunting must be thrown from behind, but be careful: with tripod 3 ''phantom double'' you will no longer be able to activate the ''high mobility'' tripod.

Let's move on to the combat statistic to be prioritized:
- Special 70% / 30

The spe will increase your resource generation, the cc will allow you to do more damage.

 

ENGRAVING 2: Residual energy

Residual energy is the engraving that will give you constant damage. Your aim is to reach 3 orbs, attack the opponent with them and recover a bonus for 30 seconds! you'll need to generate 3 orbs again within this timeframe, so that the buff is permanently present.
It's also important to note that in this build, you'll have several spells to load.

  • lvl 1 :for 30 seconds you gain 6% of movement acceleration , 8% of attack power at 1 orb / 16% of attack power at 2 orbs / 25% of attack power at 3 orbs
  • lvl 2 :for 30 seconds you gain 6% of movement acceleration , 9% of attack power at 1 orb / 20% of attack power at 2 orbs / 30% of attack power at 3 orbs
  • lvl 3 :for 30 seconds you gain 6% of movement acceleration , 12% of attack power at 1 orb / 24% of attack power at 2 orbs / 36% of attack power at 3 orbs

  • spell 2: Axel is an attack to be performed from the back, during the animation you cannot be thrown, it also gives you a 4m dash.
  • spell 3: hand of the avesta is your first spell to load
  • spell 4: two handed grip will be your counter,
  • spell 5: Hurricane rush is an aoe that must be maintained
  • spell 6: Cloak of Blade is a spell that applies a group buff to all allies within a 24m radius, for 6 seconds increasing movement speed by 15% and attack speed by 20%.
  • spell 7: headhunting is a charged spell that must be cast behind the back
  • spell 8: sword art is a charged spell that must be cast behind the back
