What is Dice Legacy game

It's a game that mixes several different genres in a rather surprising way. On the face of it, it's a city builder… but there's also quite a bit of combat that takes place too. There are also roguelike elements to the game, as your units are represented by dice.

Each side of the die performs a different function. The pickaxe icon, for example, can be used to collect resources. The gear icon can be used to grow or process wheat. Each side of a die has multiple uses. What makes this game particularly challenging is that each of your dice also has a durability score. It dies when durability reaches zero, so careful management of your resources is also important. We explain everything in the tutorial below!

The solution: Take your time!

For me the most important part is to take your time to discover each mechanism of the game. Take a look at what you can do on the map.

Farm resources but with the technologies sought.

To farm your resources as soon as you can look for the Resource tree to increase your farm and especially the map will have no more resources after a while.

Move slowly to the other end of the map. Without building too much useless stuff so as not to waste too many resources

Dice Legacy tips and walkthroughs:

When there is an attack, look what the type of attack is, if it is to set fire, let the enemy troops set fire, then it will be enough to put out the fire with a simple peasant dice and you will not be not hurt instead of sending a fighter or peasant dice with the sword.

Not to lose dice unnecessarily, try to put them as much as possible in the inn (2-3 inns are more than enough).

The combinations, if you are in winter the first monarch allows you to remove the frozen dice if you make the right combinations! You have to think about it.

Explore:

Sent a dice which the exploration of booster increases his chances of finding the treasure of the game!

Useful buildings and their number in Dice Legacy:

Do not build too many useless buildings:

  • 2-3 hostels maximum
  • 1 house
  • 1 school
  • district management to go to the end of the map + according to the laws close to your buildings
  • one production building at a time (except fields if you have the law for it)
  • several wellness buildings according to your needs
  • 1-2 improvement chamber depending on the laws
  • 1 forge and 1 laboratory
  • a MAXIMUM obelisk at the end of the game to have a maximum of exalted dice:
  • Army building based on your gameplay
  • Same for economy and religion (also depending on the map)

Choose the right laws:

Choose laws that will help you progress, especially during the winter.

During the winters try to do as few actions as possible outside of your safe places: near your steam generator if you use it, or in your districts which are impossible to freeze according to the laws.

Avoid making your classes angry:

If you anger your classes, you risk losing buildings and losing the game. So try as much as possible to please them (the laws) if not to hold festivals in the town square.

What you need to pay attention to:

Your resources to avoid running out of them and being blocked (and having to destroy your buildings)

If your dice have more durability because otherwise you will lose them and lower the happiness of the class of the dice.

The happiness of your classifieds to prevent them from getting angry!

To heal your injured dice (combat or exploration) because if they are still injured they die and it lowers your class happiness.

If you are a beginner, leave the neutral camps alone so that they don't attack and destroy you for nothing.
