Who is Maelle in Expedition 33?
At the age of 16, Maelle is the youngest member of the 33rd Expedition. Unlike the others, his main goal is not to save Lumière, but rather to escape from it.
Orphaned at the age of 3, she never really felt at home at Lumière. However, she learned to to trust and appreciate his adoptive brother Gustave.
Maelle is a teenager in search of freedom who did not hesitate to join the latest expedition to discover the rest of the world and forge your own destiny. You will recruit her automatically during Act 1.

Which skills to choose on Maelle?
Before discovering the skills to focus on, it should be noted that Maelle wields a rapier and that’she changes positions depending on her skills :
- Without posture No special effects. Maelle usually starts with this posture.
- Defensive posture: Maelle suffers less damage and gains 1 AP per parry or dodge.

Which weapon is right for Maelle?
Unlike the other characters in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Maelle is primarily used as the Team DPS.
It is therefore advisable to focus on weapons that evolve positively with statistics of Maelle. Certain weapons can also give bonuses depending on her posture.

When choosing your character's Pictos, it is advisable to find the right balance between the features they offer and the Luminas they grant without having to spend points.
For Maelle, it's best to choose Pictos that maximize her chances of reviews.
