There is no dedicated cross-platform configuration in the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 menus.
To play on both console and computer, you need to go through Xbox Play Anywhere. Rest assured, there will be no additional costs! We'll tell you how:

The Game Pass backup is located in the AppData\Local\Packages\KeplerInteractive.Expedition33_.... The Steam version waits for its files in AppData\Local\Sandfall\Saved\SaveGames\....
According to the most detailed community guides (Steam Community, tools such as XGP-save-extractor), it is generally not enough to copy the progress file alone: you must also recover the container file (SavesContainer.sav ~15 Kb), otherwise the game may not recognize the save. Exact names may vary from version to version, so it's best to transfer all the files in the folder rather than just one.

Will the game be released on Nintendo Switch 2?
No official announcement from Sandfall Interactive to date, but two signals point in the direction of a port. CEO Guillaume Broche has hinted at the possibility as early as May 2025, and leaker Nate the Hate has placed the game at the top of the list of third-party ports expected on Switch 2 before the end of 2026.
Nothing has been confirmed until Sandfall or Nintendo make an official statement.
