- 1 can be found on a corpse in Sellia's Crystal Tunnel, near the first Site of Grace.
- In Le château ombragé, you can find her on a corpse in the middle of the half-height garden in the middle of the castle where a royal Revenant is sitting.
- One can be found in Miquella's Haligtree. From Grace's site in Haligtree Town, exit through the northwest gate. Then climb the ladder. At the top, there is rotten grease, as well as a malformed corpse and three putrid corpses.
- You can find one on a body lying in the Lake of Decay.

How to use putrefied fat in Elden Ring?
Simply use it before a battle to inflict the Scarlet Rot effect on enemies. The rotten grease covers the right weapon, inflicting Scarlet Rot:
- Attacks cause an accumulation of Scarlet Rot (63)
- Lasts 60 seconds
- Decay damage = MaxHP* 0.0018 + 15 hit points per second for 90 seconds
- 16.2 % of max HP + 1,350 damage in 90 seconds
