The maximum stock of incendiary grease is 600, and players can only carry 10 at a time.

Locations of "Incendiary greases" in Elden Ring
In some parts of Limgrave, you can find incendiary grease. The Groveside cave being one of them at the start of the game, you can also find some incendiary greases in the Château Stormveil wine cellar. Go to Mourne Castle and under the bridge on the way to Murkwater Cave to find this element.
How to make "incendiary grease" in Elden Ring?
To unlock the craft in Elden Ring, pass the Tree Sentinel to reach the ruins of Elleh Church, just outside the starting tutorial area. In this church, you'll find Kaléa Norman merchant. He'll advise you on the components you need to make it.
Then open the game menu and select Manufacturing from the list on the left to start making incendiary grease. You don't need a workbench, just resources. Note that you can't create anything in combat. You can, however, carry powerful items in limited quantities, for balancing reasons.

How do I use "incendiary greases" in Elden Ring?
Before using the grease in Elden's Ring, you must first equip it. To do this, go to Equipment and click on one of the quick-access slots. In the inventory, look for the grease you may have collected during your travels in the Lands Between.
When you select the fat of your choice, it will be added to thequick access location. Once equipped, press the X button to apply it to your weapon. A short animation then appears, showing your character coating his weapon with the chosen grease.
