You should know that a tier list on this kind of game is worth nothing, there are champions that are preferable to start with, but after that it will depend on your style of gameplay!

Our tips for getting started:
For those who are just starting, I advise you to take the Hero who seems to have the best stats to start well. If you want to play with magic, the astrologer will be the best champion! There is the wanderer who will also be one of the best characters to start with.
Each character is first in his field, in each description I will put where he is the strongest!

Tier character:
- Astrologer
- Warrior
- Hero
- Samurai
- Vagabond (you will have to remove a piece of your armor to not be too heavy!)
(Its champions are good for those who are going to start the game (please read the description of the champions for more information).

(His champions are worse than those above, but may match your gameplay better!)

- Indigent
(This champion is best played when you know the game well or want more difficulty, but afterwards you can stuff and upgrade him as you see fit, so one of the best characters in the game!)
The Hero in Elden Ring:
The hero will be the base character for many new players in my opinion! He starts with a shield and an axe, he has quite a lot of strength. He is a CAC (hand to hand) champion.

He has less wit, dexterity and intelligence.

His asset is his weakness, you will be able to decide everything about this champion. (He starts with balanced stats of 10 all around).
