In the Hogwarts Legacy prologue, players will need to activate three knight statues.
During the first mission with Professor Fig, you and the Professor will be in Gringotts Vault 12, one of the oldest in the Wizarding World's bank. You will learn the spell called Revelio, which is used to reveal all hidden objects. Then, you'll learn how to ignite your wand with the Lumos spell, which can be done by holding R2 and pressing the triangle button. This same Lumos spell will be useful for you to align the knight statues with their reflections. Then after a battle, Fig will disappear, and you will need to activate the three knight statues. We will see how to activate them.

Activating statues in Hogwarts Legacy
Approaching each statue and using Lumos will cause the knights to drive their swords into the ground, but if you move away the statues will return to their original position.
However, if you look at the lines coming out of the three statues, they can be used to activate the statues.
The key here is to walk to the point where the three lines of statues intersect.
- Stand on this point and cast Lumos.
- The knights will react to the light, and each should activate as long as you stand still and don't leave the area.
- You will then have to take down the three guardians on their own by shooting them with basic magic. More will appear after you defeat the first three.
- Keep pressing R2 to damage enemies, making sure to press Triangle to shield yourself from attacks.
- By holding down the Triangle key after a block, you can cast Stupefy to stun an enemy, causing them to take more damage. It is also possible to do a dodge roll by pressing the circle button.
