Hogwarts Legacy allows its players to fully explore the magical world of Hogwarts. It is even possible to visit, under certain conditions, a particularly sinister place of sorcery. This is Azkaban, the visit to which is only an option for players who have chosen a particular House at the start of the game. Although very brief and linear, this visit allows you to see and walk around such a legendary place, which is always exciting. We will see the steps to follow to be entitled to this visit.

The House to choose to visit Azkaban
Interestingly, you have to choose the Hufflepuff house to be able to visit Azkaban. It is the only house where the portrait of the former Minister of Magic, Eldritch Diggory, can be found in its common room. Mr. Diggory will ask you in a conversation to help him with something after Professor Fig is gone for a while and will start the exclusive Hufflepuff quest called Prisoner of Love.
How is the visit?
During the quest, you will be directed to the house of Eldritch Diggory's great-niece, Helen Thistlewood. When she was an Auror, she apparently handled a murder case related to the book you picked up earlier in the Small Hall.
Helen explains that Richard Jackdaw disappeared and his ghost briefly appeared headless in Hogsmeade. A young girl named Anne, who was in a relationship with him at the time, was therefore charged with his murder. This accusation was facilitated by the false testimony of Apollonia Black, who was jealous of the couple.
It seems Jackdaw gave Anne a riddle to solve before they meet. She failed to solve it before Jackdaw died and was imprisoned, but Helen thinks she may have solved it while in Azkaban. However, Anne doesn't want to talk to most people, as she is unwilling to trust anyone after being imprisoned and tortured by the Dementors.
Helen thinks that a Hogwarts student who also uncovered the same mystery as Jackdaw when he died might be able to communicate with Anne and get the clue needed to prove his innocence. This is how she offers to take you to Azkaban. After a teleport and a Patronus spell to fend off the Dementors, it's time to meet Anne.
The visit to Azkaban boils down to a walk in a wide corridor, listening to the taunts and cries of the poor prisoners. There is an open cell that can be entered on the left side, although it seems to be of no use, and Anne's cell is at the end of the hall. After speaking to her and obtaining the information needed to investigate further and possibly clear her name, Anne attacks Helen by surprise, forcing her to slip away with you. Although short, this sequence really succeeds in showing just how terrible Azkaban is.
