Holy Energy or Level Up? Want to know which energy drink is the best choice for gamers? As a former partner of both brands, I’ve tested both powdered energy drinks, and my choice is clear: Holy!
In this article, I'll walk you through my review, point by point.
1. Holy Energy vs. Level Up: The Lineup
In terms of composition, the difference is clear. Holy Energy focuses on an approach more naturalwhile Level Up sticks to a classic formula, in the spirit of the combinations already available in the gaming market.
Just a quick note on transparency: I was partner of both brands. Following the acquisition of Level Up, I ended that partnership because the new team was only concerned with profitability.
Both offer sugar-free versions. The real difference lies in the aromas:
- Holy Energy uses natural fruit flavors, with no artificial colors or unnecessary additives.
- Level Up sticks to a more conventional recipe, without really standing out.
As for the effects, Holy Energy aims to provide a boost balanced and sustainable, when Level Up instead plays the card of a quick boost.
To check the specific nutritional information (caffeine, vitamins, sweeteners), it’s best to read the label on each product before making a choice.

2. Taste and aromas
That's often where the real choice between two powdered drinks comes down to. A good taste It changes everything when you take your dose every day.
- Holy Energy : a constantly evolving lineup, featuring fruity flavors available on the website, including several variations raspberry. The result is light and refreshing, without that overly heavy syrupy taste. The raspberry flavor remains one of the community’s favorites. It’s honestly quite pleasant, even at the end of the day.
- Level Up : a wide selection as well, featuring titles such as Blue Crush, Galaxy or special editions. The flavors are more pronounced, sweeter, and more «punchy» on the palate.
After tasting both drinks, the flavors of Holy Energy seem to me to be more natural. Those from Level Up leave an aftertaste that I find more chemical.
If you prefer a profile sweet and fruity, Holy Energy will surely be more to your liking. If you're looking for intense, sweet flavors, Level Up might be a better fit for you. It's a matter of personal preference : The best thing to do is to try one flavor of each drink.
3. Effects and benefits
The difference lies mainly in the duration and the stability the energy boost. The effects and benefits vary depending on the formula of each energy drink.
With Holy Energy, I felt a surge of energy more balanced and consistent throughout the day. The high builds up gradually, then fades away without any major aftereffects. It’s the drink I have before a long gaming session or a period of focused work, to maintain my focus without crashing.
With Level Up, I actually had a quick burst of energy but less consistent over time. In practice, I tended to want to take another dose sooner to keep going.
In concrete terms :
- For a long-term stimulation If it's going to take several hours, I recommend that you Holy Energy.
- For a a quick, one-time boost before taking a specific action, Level Up gets the job done.
This feedback remains my personal feelings. Everyone reacts differently to caffeine, so your experience may vary.
4. Prices and promotional offers
In terms of pricing, the two brands are on par with each other. Holy Energy and Level Up offer similar prices. It's hard to choose between them based on this criterion alone.
The real difference comes down to the promo code. For your purchases on the website of Holy Energy, between the code ALUCARE When you check out your order to take advantage of a special offer across the entire product line.
Don't forget the promo code : ALUCARE. You can find the offer online directly on the official website.
The two brands also regularly launch limited editions. A good habit: compare the price per gram Before you order, especially if you want to try several flavors of this type of drink.
5. Community and commitment
Holy Energy has a loyal community of gamers, the HolySquad. Fans are discussing the Discord official, share their reviews, and receive direct support from the brand. Promo codes and new products are shared regularly online.
On his side, Level Up has a community focused on gamers and esports. Since the acquisition, however, it has much less active, and content sharing has dropped significantly.
If you're looking for a vibrant community centered around your energy drink, the clear winner is Holy Energy, which stands out for its a more personal commitment.
My conclusion
In the end, I've made my decision: I'm sticking with Holy Energy. The brand really goes all out for its gaming community, with dedicated attention and responsive support. I even got to meet the whole team, which makes me even more eager to stick with them for the long haul.
Side Level Up, I regret to say that I've noticed a real decline since the acquisition.
If you're still torn between the two drinks, it's Holy Energy which I recommend for a boost more stable and natural on a daily basis.
