When is the next Monopoly GO Treasures event?
Treasures is an event that doesn't take place every week, which is why many players look forward to it! The Treasures event takes place around once a monthwhich doesn't happen very often. What's more, this event generally lasts between 4 and 5 days.
I'm releasing an article a few days before the start of the Treasures event so that you can know the information in advance such as the date of the next Treasures event and the rewards to be won. Knowing the dates in advance allows you to anticipate your game and win as many picks as possible (I'll explain why and how right after). - The Anniversary Treasures event, which began on April 16, 2024 until April 20, 2024.
- The Trésors du Printemps treasures event, which began on March 30, 2024 until April 03, 2024.

What is the Monopoly GO Treasures event?
The treasure event on Monopoly GO is one where you have to find objects that have gone underground. You have to collect picks to find all the hidden objects. Treasures can be found both horizontally and vertically.
Here's how the pioche event looks on Monopoly GO:
As you can see, several objects are hidden under blocks and you have to click on them to try and find the object. Each broken block costs you 1 pick..
Furthermore, it is not possible to know the location of a treasure on Monopoly GO, since the location is different for each player. So there's no point in asking your friends for the location of your items, as they won't be the same for you. However, I'm going to share with you a few tips I use during this event to complete it completely and optimize it as much as possible!
How can I get Monopoly GO picks for the Treasures event?
There are different ways to get picks on Monopoly GO, in order to destroy the different blocks and find all the items.
Here are the different ways to get picks on the Monopoly GO pick event:
- Thanks to events and tournaments ! You can also find the Monopoly GO event board which lists all the awards for each event (very useful for finding out how many picks you can earn and at which stages) ;
- By taking the free gift which is available in the store every eight hours;
- By performing the quick wins every day, you can also get picks (they change every day at 3 p.m.);
- Directly throughevent Treasures since it gives you a few picks at certain stages.
As you can see, pick gain is quite varied, but you have to make sure you use them correctly and optimally.
Tips you need to know for Treasures!
Now that you know what a Treasures event is, I'm going to share with you the various tips which I use to optimize the gain of picks and also of dice! So here are the different tricks of the pick event:
- Getting the pioche event off to a good start:
Just before, I told you that you can get picks thanks to quick wins and the store's free gift. So you can optimize this gain right from the start. Since I share the start date and time of the Treasures event with you a few days in advance, you know what time the event will start. You must therefore collect the free gift at the start of the pick event (and not before), and the same goes for quick wins. I'll use a concrete example to make things clearer.
Let's say the Treasures event starts at 1:59pm on April 15:
- I remind you that quick wins change daily at 3:00 p.m.. Recover your quick wins from April 14 as the pick event begins (April 15 at 2:10 p.m., for example) to get a few picks at the start of the event. And you can pick them up again at 3 p.m. when the quick wins change. If you'd collected your quick wins on April 14 at 10:00 a.m., you wouldn't have got those extra picks, because the event doesn't start until 1:59 p.m. And since you can collect your quick win rewards whenever you like, it's best to wait until the start of the pick event to collect them - it'll still be a few extra picks!
- Wait before picking up your free gift in the store. If you pick up your free gift at 10:00 a.m., you won't be able to collect it at 1:59 p.m. on the dot, so you'll lose a gift, which means fewer picks! I'd advise you to wait until the start of the event (i.e. 1:59 p.m.) to pick up your free Monopoly GO gift, available in the store every 8 hours.
These two little methods will earn you a few extra picks, which is far from negligible.
- Optimizing the search for treasures :
This may seem logical, but tryoptimize your object searchs. Keep track of the size of each treasure, and choose wisely. For example, if there's an object that's 3 squares long, there's no point in breaking the squares where there are only 2 blocks, as the object won't be able to hide there. Break the blocks where the 3-long object is likely to be found. Playing with logic is the secret. It's important to maximize your picks, as they can be used to win even more dice! I'll tell you why and how right now.
- Converting picks into dice!
What do you mean? Can picks turn into dice? Well, the answer is... yes! When you complete the treasure event (i.e. the last stage), the remaining picks will be converted into dice. And this conversion is very profitable: 1 pick = 3 dice ! When I heard about this, I thought it would be a good idea to finish the Treasures event as late as possible to get several thousand more dice. Let me explain how I do it personally.
First, I do the pick event normally, except that I stop at the last stage so that I have to break one last block to finish the event (but I don't break it right away, of course). Here's a picture of how I do it:
As you can see from the image above, there's only one block left before I finish the whole event. So, knowing that I'm only on the second day of the event, I decide to do not break this last square and continue to accumulate as many picks as possible! So I'm going to play the various events, pick up the free gift in the store every 8 hours, and make my quick wins. A few hours before the end of the event, I just finish my Treasures event by breaking the last square, which allows me to win several dice:
You see, my remaining picks have been converted, and so I have won over 1,000 dice ! If I'd finished the Treasures event 2 days before the end, I'd only have won a few dice, whereas now I've won a lot more! You just have to remember to finish the event before the end. I invite you to do the same, because who wouldn't want free dice?
