New RAID merge April 19, 2022 + Champion Rebalancing.
Plarium informs us of a new fragment fusion + a rebalancing on certain champions!
New Shadow Legends raid merge
On Tuesday, April 19, we plan to launch a Champion Fragment event with a new champion: Gaius the Cheerful.
Faction – Revenant Knights
Rarity – Legendary
Type – Attack
Affinity – Magic
Gaius the Cheerful's kit is the epitome of chaos and explosions.
The A1 gives Gaius an extra turn when he kills an enemy, which is an extremely useful skill in Arena and PvE content as well.
With A2 he places bombs on all enemies and puts them to sleep. Even considering Stoneskin's current meta, you'll have no problem getting through this buff. And if the opponent has no Stoneskin on him, you can detonate the bombs even faster, thanks to Sleep. This skill will be very useful for clearing PvE waves.
Using his A3, Gaius can deal heavy damage by detonating all bombs on the target and ignoring Unkillables. This is a counter mechanic to the Perennial Parry artifact set and champions with Incapacitated in their skill set.
Gaius the Cheerful's passive skill is a kind of trick that places bombs on the attacker and instantly detonates all bombs when Gaius is killed.
I find this champion really very strong on paper! See his stats!
Champion Rebalancing:
We continue to rebalance champions. And here is a new batch of Fields that will be balanced in the next update.
Changes are written in bold.
Ithos:
A2:
Goes from a debuff of 15% -> 25%.
Inithwe:
A3:
Damage boost.
Shirimani:
A1:
15% freeze chance -> 25% freeze chance
A2 and A3:
-1 round of cd.
My thoughts on balancing:
Ithos is therefore a normal legacy.
Inithwe we always take.
For shirimani it's really not bad.
BUT !!!
Why change champions? While we have:
- Jingwon
- Cillian
- Grohak
- vergum
- Teela
And can we continue?
Ithos very good nuker for example. We are still waiting for improvements on some champions. But it's always taken. To see the changes for the next updates of the game.
