Hello everyone, welcome to our latest update, where we bring you one of our most anticipated features: Live Arena.

First, let's go over the basics. Live Arena is a new arena mode where you can participate in real-time PvP battles against other players. On top of that, the Live Arena features new quests, new artifact sets, and an expansion of the Great Hall where you can use special crests earned by winning battles.
You will unlock the Live Arena once you reach level 50 and it will be open several times a day. Originally planned to be a permanent feature, it will eventually open on a fixed daily schedule to avoid long wait times when searching for matches. Live Arena will be tested with a limited group of players before it officially opens.
Live Arena battles cost one Live Arena token, with a maximum of five tokens at a time. You can buy refills with gems if you run out. Each new top-up will cost more than the previous one, but the prices and your default tokens will reset each day at midnight UTC.
When you find an opponent, you move on to the champion select phase, where players take turns choosing champions from their roster. Each player chooses five champions, then banishes a champion from the opposing team. The teams are thus reduced to four champions. Starting at Gold tier, all champions chosen must be unique between the two teams. This phase is also marked by tactics and strategies to deceive the opponent.
Live Arena battles work similarly to regular Arena battles, except you're up against a real human opponent rather than an AI. You have 15 seconds to choose your skills in a turn, otherwise the game will go into auto-battle mode. Each fight also has a time limit of 30 minutes, beyond which both players will be credited with a loss.
By winning Live Arena battles, you will earn Live Arena Points and Live Arena Crests. Points are used to progress through the different Divisions, while Crests can be spent to unlock area bonuses in the Great Hall. Additionally, new repeatable quests and unique rewards are available in Live Arena.
Two new artifact sets are also available: Impulse and Fervor. Impulse increases the champion's speed and offers a chance to reduce the cooldown of a random skill, while Fervor increases the champion's critical damage and deals more damage if the target still has high health.
Finally, the Live Arena Crests you earn from battles can be spent to unlock area bonuses in the Great Hall. These crests are available in bronze, silver and gold, just like the classic arena medals. The first three levels of zone bonuses are upgraded with bronze crests, levels four through six require silver crests, and higher levels need gold stars. You can also use higher tier Crests to unlock lower tier bonuses, just like with Classic Arena Medals.
Area bonuses, unlike affinity bonuses, increase champion stats only in specific locations. For example, by improving the attack bonus in the potion dungeon row, your champions will have increased attack when fighting in that area. These area bonuses will help you farm hard mode dungeons, which we talked about in a previous episode.
