Monopoly GO: Everything You Need to Know About the Partners Event

L'Partner event amounts to approximately once a month on Monopoly GO. It's the only event that lets you play cooperatively with your friends to earn great rewards.

It usually lasts 5 days and you can build structures there with up to 4 partners.

What is the Monopoly GO Partner Event?

The Partners Event is a cooperative event where you play with up to 4 friends. You have four buildings to be constructed, each with a different partner.

The idea is simple: you take a wheel that brings you points, and these points are used to advance the construction. You and your partner add up your points until you complete the building together.

Each completed building earns you rewards, and if you complete all four buildings with all your friends, you'll unlock a grand prize.

Some editions of this “Event Partners” series have a thematic name. For example, the edition of September 2024 was called Desert Bloom Partners. The concept remains the same from one edition to the next; only the setting changes.

During the event, you can go up to the multiplier x30 maximum.

At this level, you play 600 points with every spin of the wheel. If you have any points left at the end of the event, they are automatically converted into in-game currency.

How do I invite a friend to join the Partners event on Monopoly GO?

Inviting a friend takes just a few seconds. Here are the steps:

Here are the tips that I use to maximize my points during this Partners event.

• Getting the Event Off to a Good Start

You can get off to a great start with quick rewards and a free gift from the store. Since I'm sharing the date and time of the event's start A few days in advance, you know exactly when it all starts.

The idea is to collect these rewards at the event's launch, and not before.

Here's a concrete example. Let's imagine that the "Partners" event starts on April 20 at 1:59 p.m. :

1. The daily quick wins change every day at 15h00. Claim the ones from April 19 as soon as the event starts (at 2:10 p.m. on April 20, for example) to start earning points right away. You can claim more at 3:00 p.m. when they refresh. If you had claimed them at 10:00 a.m., those points would have been lost because the event hadn’t started yet.
2. Wait a bit before taking your free gift at the store. If you pick it up at 10:00 a.m., you won't be able to open it at exactly 1:59 p.m. It's better to wait until the launch so you don't ruin this gift.

• Work things out with your teammate

Each building is a two-player game, so both players must participate in the construction. Ideally, the 50/50 rule : Everyone contributes half the points.

Generally, a building requires about 80,000 points to be completed with 1 friend. Ask your teammate to 40,000 points, and do the remaining 40,000 on your own.
