Translation of the Raid Digest of November 4, 2022
Just as the Silvan Guards have come silently to Teleria from the grim old Mistwood, so the misty November has come to Raid with its winds and fallen leaves, bringing with it a new issue of #RaidDigest. Sit down, wrap yourself in a blanket, with a tall glass of cocoa and some sweets, and read our regular topic to catch up on what's going on in Raid.
New faction and new Buff Taunt
Crypt of the Sylvan guardians. We will continue to develop this faction with new champions in future updates. Therefore, the Crypt of the Guardians of the Forest will not be open for the next six months, at least. Don't worry, we'll let you know when it's released as soon as we get closer to that moment. Still, if you're about to get Lydia, it makes sense not to hesitate – time flies so fast.
While we're talking about the Silvan Guards, we'd like to comment on the clan quests that feature the new champion. For example, those where you have to clear one of the dungeons with the champions of the new faction. These quests appeared too early in the Raid, so we'll be temporarily removing them until there are enough Sylvan Guardians in the game to complete this mission comfortably.
The removal of these particular quests will take place in the near future – we will let you know as soon as this is done.
Buff Taunt
Regarding Taunt, a new buff that forces enemies to attack the champion teasing it, we'd like to add some clarification on its mechanics against Taunt Immune bosss.
In short, yes, Taunt will work against such Bosses, but there are a few things to keep in mind:
– if the Boss has an AoE, then the damage will pass through all your Champions
– if the Boss has a single target attack, then Taunt will not prevent him or other Champions from using their other skills. Taunt is not a taunt that requires you to use the first basic skill.
– if the Boss has all his skills active in cooldown, and the base skill is a single target attack with no additional conditions, then the Boss will target the Champion under Taunt. Let's explain a little more clearly what "additional conditions" we are talking about. Here are some examples :
1) Hydra's Head of Decay. A1. Attack 1 enemy with the lowest HP.
2) Hydra head of playfulness. A1. Attacks the enemy with the most buffs.
These types of single target attacks will have a higher priority than Taunt, and therefore these Hydra Heads will basically ignore Taunt. These heads will attack based on conditions – attacking the enemy with the lowest HP or with the most buffs.
Another scenario we would like to comment on. If a champion has support abilities, they don't have to target an enemy under the effect of Taunt and can choose to heal, revive, or buff their allies instead.
Bug fixes and other tips
Clan ranking – the first position is missing!
As some of you may have noticed, the 1st position has disappeared from the clan ranking. We are aware of this issue and will fix it in one of the next big releases.
Myciliac Orn's Priest - bug fix
In one of the next versions, we will fix a bug in the Orn Myciliac Priest A3 skill “The Colony Expands” that caused the Orn Myciliac Priest to heal itself even if the Poison was resisted. Since this is a bug and not the normal behavior of the Champion according to the skill description, it should be fixed.
Referral program – level 51 is better than 50
Sometimes your referral program does not give you access to the 4th Sacred Shard and other additional rewards, even if the 3 friends you invited have reached level 50. This is a bug that we will correct in the future. In the meantime, a workaround is to wait for one of your friends to reach level 51, after which you can collect the bonus Holy Shard and access other rewards.
CvC tournament – to do or not to do?
We haven't forgotten about the upcoming CvC tournament either. Future CvC tournaments will be without personal rewards.
