#1: How are the Slytherin students?
Most Slytherins come from prominent families, which makes them a little too arrogant. But despite their often excessive attitude, they also possess undeniable abilities to integrate the world of sorcery, apart from the fact that they are pure blood. They are indeed very talented and crafty as described so well by the Sorting Hat in the part where Harry is going to put it on his head. Considering these qualities, you can consider Slytherin house as a destination house in Hogwarts Legacy to exploit them.
N°2: Slytherin characters in Harry Potter
Among the most famous characters in Harry Potter, we find in Slytherin in particular: Draco Malfoy (the son of Lucius Malfoy), Tom Jedusor (who becomes Voldemort later in the story), Dolores Umbridge, the whole Black family (apart from Sirius who chose Gryffindor), but also Albus Potter (Harry Potter's son), and still many others who are less evil like: Severus Snape, Horace Slughorn or Scorpius (Draco Malfoy's son who becomes the best friend of Albus in their time).
Several of the characters we already know will appear in the game, including: Phineus Nigellus Black (headmaster of the school in 1890), Sebastian Sallow, or professors Aesop Sharp (who teaches Potions) and Abraham Ronen (who teaches spells, which also has qualities opposite to the images we have of Slytherin).
#3: The Founder and the Ghost of Slytherin
Slytherin, also called the house of black mages, in green and silver colors and bearing the snake as a totem animal, was built by Salazar Slytherin at the same time as the other 3 houses. Salazar is best known for being able to talk to snakes thanks to being Parseltongue and for only accepting pureblooded students at school (which is why he created the Chamber of Secrets there). To get rid of students with “impure” blood, the basilisk monster was installed in the Chamber of Secrets. It is found in the scenes where Voldemort / Tom Riddle opened it, which is also one of the main reasons why the students wanted to avoid it at all costs.
As for the ghost of Slytherin, it is that of the Bloody Baron, who is both the mascot of the house. This is the one Rowena Ravenclaw sent to find her daughter Helena in the forests. He was in love with her, but she was not, which prompted the Baron to stab her and then stab himself.
#4: About the Slytherin Common Room
As known, the Slytherin common room is literally located at the bottom of the Black Lake, as can be seen in the image above. She is near the dungeons, as we can see in the saga during the passage where Harry and Ron follow Crabb and Goyle for information. You need to know a password to be able to open the passage to its entrance, where we find a snake lifting up in the game to let through.
The interior of the Slytherin common room gives the effect of a kind of aquarium from which you can sometimes watch creatures of the lake.
#5: Other Slytherin Facts
Often perceived as villains by members of other houses, Slytherins are indeed arrogant and proud characters, but nevertheless full of talents and very cunning. Besides, Harry himself, who wanted at all costs to avoid going there at the start, has changed his mind and reassures his son that this house is not as bad as he thought. Albus Potter, the son of Harry Potter therefore joined this house, which shows that the students of Slytherin do not all have bad characters according to their reputation.
So, Slytherin house can be a very good choice of house if you want to learn sorcery in a gloomy setting in Hogwarts Legacy.
