Quantanium, a new ore introduced in 3.9. Indeed, this ore is very profitable and it is also difficult to mine. In our article, we will show where to find Quantanium, but before that, let's find out what it is and how to use it?

Quantanium: what is it?
Quantanium is a tiny, highly unstable and delicate mineral that can be harvested and refined into quantum fuel. Indeed, once you extract this mineral, it will degrade over time.
In fact, it is estimated to have a life of 15 minutes. This degradation is also accelerated by the impact on the ship. The more it degrades, the more likely it is to explode, giving the pilot a visual and/or audio warning, as well as the option of ejecting the entire cargo via a button on the cockpit. Failure to eject the mineral in time could result in explosion and death of the carrier.
How to use Quantanium?
To use Quantanium, you'll need either a prospector or a mole, as it can't be mined by Roc or manual mining equipment. Besides, whichever vessel you choose, you'll always need a new minig head. You can also use Helig. Helig costs an average of 100K.
You can also use a Lancet. It costs just 25 K. Whether Helig or Lancet, you can use both of them perfectly, as they are good enough to handle Quantanium deposits. Quantanium is also an unstable mineral, so using certain components is necessary to make the job easier. For example, you can use the optimum component to widen the initially narrow stability window.
Where to find Quantanium?
You can find Quantanium on ArcCorp's nearest moon, Lyria. The rock clusters on this moon are filled with Quantanium. By the way, the best way to mine Quantanium is with Aaron's Halo. You can also find Quantanium on two MicroTech moons, including: Clio and Euterpe, but you can also find it elsewhere.
Once you have found Quantanium, you will just have to mine it like any ore until you get collectable pieces. Then harvest the quantanium pieces and put them in the hold of your ship.
Quantanium Volatility Explained
Quantanium is an unstable and highly volatile mineral. The second you pick up this mineral, its time will be counted. We don't know how long it will last, but it's estimated to be around 15 minutes. The countdown begins the moment you pick up the ore.
This collection can take several minutes, so you have very little time left to transport to the refinery terminal and sell your cargo. If you exceed these time limits, the Quantanium may explode, killing the person transporting it. This limited, or even very short, shelf life is proof of the volatility of this mineral.
