History of Duchess Lilitu
Duchess Lilitu is one of the most powerful demons in the Siroth legions and a lieutenant of Mortu-Macaab. Her powers as a witch are matched only by her cunning and experience. Indeed, Lilitu has had the advantage of existing for thousands of years, learning all there is to learn about black magic and the infernal intrigues of demonic courts.
In fact, she's lived long enough to personally participate in no less than three Teleria invasions. She has faced the Arbiter and survived the experience - barely, though she won't admit it - which is a feat in itself. One of Lilitu's greatest strengths is the wisdom with which she assesses her own talents and the lack of arrogance that is so common in her family.
She knows she's not a legendary warrior and wouldn't be of much use in the fray. Instead, she focuses her powers on empowering and protecting those who fight for her. In battle, Lilitu chants incantations and spells in an obscure language now forgotten by all but Siroth's servants, and calls upon the very fabric of the Void to protect her allies.
She doesn't do this out of the goodness of her heart, of course, but with the cold, calculated aim of keeping her servants alive long enough to carry out her will. For this reason, she expends a great deal of magical energy to seize the souls of those who have fallen in battle and return them to their mortal vessels, healing their wounds and enabling them to fight again.
Today, as Siroth's dark will once again envelops the whole of Teleria, Lilitu rises from his infernal palace, his armies at his heels. It's high time mortals paid for past insults and finally bent the knee.
