History of Géôlier Ogryn
Ogryns are often not the most intelligent creatures, but there are many tasks and functions for which brawn counts for more than brains. It's true that the position of jailer requires a certain amount of intelligence - lest some dashing rogue entrust them with the keys - but no one can deny the seriousness of the intimidation factor that a guard of this type (and size!) brings to the table.
As if that weren't enough, this Ogryn has been tasked with looking after magically gifted prisoners or those in possession of magical artifacts. The runes etched into his flesh are terrible to behold, but they allow this morose creature to siphon magic from his charges. And, sometimes, to transform it to strengthen himself.
